@RestoreGPUK
We are a grassroots group of GPs in the UK working together to protect the future of General Practice.

@posikles @therawlucy The most striking part of the medical substitution and deskilling agenda is the extent of deception, corruption, erosion, and influence that enables those replacing doctors to portray themselves as victims.

We've informed sessional GP members in England about the details of the DDRB pay uplifts for 25/26. Watch @amyismall on what it means for you as a sessional GP 👇 And read FAQs here: i.emlfiles4.com/cmpdoc/2/5/8/0…

RCGP Council elections are open! I’ve worked with Malinga, Cheska and Elliott over the years; they’re excellent advocates for GPs and understand the realities on the ground. We need strong grassroots voices on Council more than ever. If you’re a GP or registrar, please vote!

⚠️Newly released emails show @gmcuk described itself as "anxious" about the Leng Review's work on scope of practice for associates The regulator asked Prof Leng to meet Charlie Massey ahead of the roundtable to "develop and frame the questions". Trying to influence the agenda?

A video was posted on social media channels by the College that featured one of the candidates currently standing in the RCGP members' national election for new Council members. The material was filmed in May, prior to the election process and was produced as part of the promotion of the College’s health inequalities exhibition, which is currently showing in our College's foyer. The candidate concerned was featured in his role as chair of the College’s Health Inequalities Group but was incorrectly referred to as Chair of the College’s Heritage Group. The video has been removed and we apologise for the error and for any perception that this may have inadvertently caused that the College was promoting one candidate over others. This is absolutely not the case, he was acting in his role, which he has held for the last two years, promoting the exhibition. We are committed to ensuring a fair and transparent election process and would draw attention to the full list of names below of those standing for election as national elected council members, and to their statements on the voting website. Candidate list: Alam, U A Tanvir Ball, Cheska Burrow, Mary Anne Dhillon, Jaz Everington, Sam Fieldhouse, Richard Hodkinson, Alice Kyle, Stuart Lavu, Deepthi Mummery, David Mukherjee, Amrita Sen Patterson, Dominic Philips, Elliott Ratwatte, Malinga Samaraweera, Sahan

Genuinely shocked by the dilution of standards around the running of Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs). Let's take a look! 1. UTCs used to be GP-delivered services. Then GP-led and MDT-delivered. Now NO mandate for ANY doctors to be involved in leadership of the service. 1/
