BREAKING: A son in law of one of the North West governors reportedly spent the night in police custody over an alleged N460 million fraud case.
According to sources, the young man allegedly approached a businessman claiming he had secured a $3 million contract to provide forex for Hajj operations in the state. Using the story, he reportedly convinced the businessman to release N460 million as investment into the deal.
After collecting the money, he allegedly ceased communication and stopped taking the businessman’s calls.
The businessman later petitioned both the EFCC and the Nigeria Police Force in an attempt to recover his money, leading to the suspect’s arrest and detention.
Why do people deliberately put themselves in certain situations?

I heard a very weird story this evening.
This woman got divorced by her husband because she always go along with her son to meet a man who give the boy biscuit while they ask him to sit outside.
The boy being so intelligent have always told his father about the particular man his mother always takes him to.
So yesterday he decided to travel them yo the place only to find out his wife keep the boy outside while she is having a good time with the man.
When questioned she claimed to have known the man for just 6 months

"So, i went on a date with this guy, we had food and drinks, bill came out around 150k and he paid. He asked if I’ll follow him home.
I refused and told him it was inappropriate besides this was our first date and I barely know him..so he agreed and said it was fine. Then I asked him for some money for my uber and he refused and said it was inappropriate. Really? How’s that inappropriate?.
I had to book my own uber back home and i blocked it afterwards, bcus how does going on a date equate me following you home? Some men don’t have sense at all
My housemaid traveled to Zamfara yesterday morning from Kaduna to visit her sister, only for her sister to call me this morning and inform me of her demise. She was shot four times by bandits and sadly lost her life. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un.
I once got disqualified from a job because I said I couldn’t postpone my Zuhr prayer till after work.
They asked: “What if you’re too busy? Please leave that prayer till after work.”
I said: “No matter how busy work gets, I can’t delay my prayer, sir.”
And honestly, I still left with peace in my heart because I can’t sacrifice my salah for work
@YusufAsunmogejo A car seller according to what he said!
The car owner peck his price at 2m n he got sm1 to buy at 3!
It’s legal.
But when it will enter ghabn, is when d car seller is demanding 2.5 n u tell d buyer 3m! N make the seller reduce 500k, telling him dat d buyer can only buy at 2m!
Walaikum Salam.
If you buy that car for 2 million, it becomes your property and you take the full risk of ownership. At that point, selling it for 3 million is legitimate trade because you are selling what you own.
However, if you are just a middleman who has not bought the car yet, you are in dangerous territory. The Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade selling what you do not possess. You need permission from the owner first. Ibn Abbas mentioned that there is no harm if the owner says: "Sell this for 2 million, and whatever is more is yours."
Without that agreement or ownership, taking a million in secret is "Ghabn," which is a form of deception in pricing. Islamic business is built on transparency, not on manipulating prices while you have no skin in the game.
You should be either a clear owner who takes a risk or a known agent who takes a commission. If you are hiding the true price from both sides to pocket a 50% markup, you are building your profit on a foundation of secrecy. Your gain should come from the service you provide or the risk you carry, not through deceit.
Allah knows best.
