@SouvikG1982 @riteshmjn That's no excuse of not maintaining fiscal prudence by any state, every state maintains a certain gdp to debt ratio and debt growth shall not exceed gdp growth rate. It's a gross negligence by state to fund it's populist schemes at the expense of taxpayers and middle class.

Grass is always greener on the other side. Clocking 10L/month here doing "Challenging Work" and i constantly feel FOMO about not getting a formal job like most of friends and batchmates and anxiety, uncertainty that will i even be able to employed ever? Cherish what you have and don't resign unless you have a backup/better option 🙂.

My urge to just resign is increasing day by day. Wake up, attend standup, listen to manager for deadlines, work soul less like a zombie, work till late, reach home even more late. And the fundamental problem is the work itself, i just hate it so so much. No creativity, rote working with extreme deadlines making sure you are gaining nothing. I am messing my beautiful relationships that still stay close to me, pretending everything is okay. I just don’t know what to do, seeing the jobs that are worse than mine listing 12-14 hours with bare minimum pay. Where do you even go ? And, is there a way to stop it, while complementing it ? I hate it so so much, that if i am getting 50% for interesting work instead of what i am doing now, i would gladly take it. It’s almost like witnessing hell on both the sides.

Decided to run a few demographic simulations with Claude. Turns out if by some magic TFR rates stopped falling and froze at their current levels, India would end up with 1.6 billion people by the end of 2125, while Pakistan would reach 1.22 billion people and Bangladesh would reach 200 million. Of course, this is not what's going to happen in reality, but it gives you an inkling of how terrible sub-continent level demographics are turning out to be for us...

I personally know 2-3 ipho gold medalists who were also top rankers in Jee advanced/ iit jee like it used to be called. And it just saddens me how boring their lives turned out to be. (2 of them were nationally renowned due to high ranks etc. ) There was only 1 person from my year that actually didn’t disappoint and followed what she wanted.

I had two seniors who were crazy cracked one of them was single digit in everything and 2x gold medal in icho - recently found out she is an swe at vc firm in usa rn another of them was a madlad, never studied bio, got interested in bio in class 11/12 - but he didn't give neet, he got all exam double digit rank, joined top IIT cs, gave neet next year air 2, and he was one of the leading helpers during covid times for vaccines all over rthe world

He'd already brought a cobra 620km from Alwar and kept it hidden for 11 days... after killing her, he killed the snake too and used its teeth to punch fake bite marks into her hand, then rushed her to hospital claiming snakebite. The postmortem exposed the lie. During the investigation, it emerged Amitesh was seeking divorce over an affair with another woman in Delhi, and had already taken ₹25 lakh in dowry from Shivani's family while allegedly harassing her for more. After a 6.5-year trial, Amitesh was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder, plus 3 more years and a ₹25,000 fine for killing the cobra.
