@SkyNewsAust In a massive country like Australia with cities spread across the land of course it’s uneconomic. It’s right for countries like China & India with their massive populations. Europe has had nuclear for decades. Could work in Africa & South America too perhaps.

#BREAKING VICTORIA IS ABOUT TO DELIVER THE BIGGEST POLITICAL SHOCK OF THE YEAR. One Nation is on track to smash through Labor’s heartland and win up to 34 seats in November. That’s not a protest vote. That’s a full scale working class revolt. Even the union bosses are in full panic mode. Luke Hilakari just stood up at Labor’s national conference and admitted the unthinkable: “They can form government.” Labor’s primary is collapsing. One Nation is leading on 27%. The outer suburbs and regions are done with Jacinta Allan’s disaster government. Cost of living, failed borders, and years of being taken for granted have finally broken the old Labor base. Hilakari’s solution? “Expose Pauline Hanson.” Victorians already know exactly who she is. That’s why they’re coming. This isn’t a “far right threat.” This is ordinary Australians finally having a party that actually puts them first. One Nation isn’t rising. Labor is falling - and the working class is walking straight out the door. Victoria first. Australia next.

@CamillaTominey If you never had a problem with Tory cronyism then you can’t have an issue with Labour cronyism, that would be hypocrisy! That’s the problem with modern journalism, it’s selective reporting to suit political opinion & agenda.

@newscomauHQ news.com.au/the-team/danie… is a sad case of a ‘journalist’ writing article after article about Harry & Meghan. Conflating Harry with Andrew is sickening as Andrew has never done anything for anyone but himself. Harry has embraced charities for children & veterans, & his wife.

@SkyNewsAust I’m sure every athlete is grateful for financial support, Gina can certainly afford it, is this financial support tax deductible for Gina or her companies? If so then it’s the taxpayer who is really supporting our athletes. If it’s a generous gift, no need to advertise.

@DHughesy We know that the majority of subsidies in dollar terms goes to the richest people, diesel rebates, employment grants, big business tax offsets. Small businesses & average workers do need to be put first for a change, never happened under LNP government, ALP does need to stand up.

Well done on a Labor legend standing up against the corruption and idiocy of their current leaders. They are trashing the brand almost beyond repair. Hopefully Bill goes public on his thoughts on current Victorian Labor.

Labor elder Bill Kelty has let fly at the “lunacy and stupidity” driving Australia’s economic management - “our taxes are increasing, government expenditure is rising faster than prices. It does say something is wrong with this place.” afr.com/politics/feder…

Labor is a national embarrassment. Mali from marketing opened the ALP conference with a desperate joke about @Barnaby_Joyce and his dog. Completely out of touch. While SA goes backwards, all Labor has is spin and cheap shots at One Nation. South Australians can’t afford more of this. We need real cost-of-living relief, affordable housing we can actually build, and an end to the net zero policies driving up power prices. Malinauskas has no idea, and Labor doesn’t care about you. One Nation is fighting for common sense in South Australia and beyond. #saveaustralia #VoteOneNation

The same Pauline Hanson who said young people are lazy, always on their phones and bosses should be able to sack them more easily….proudly boasted on Channel 7 that she’s missed a year of senate estimates and rarely turns up to senate sittings Who’s lazy now? While she has no problems taking those young peoples taxes to pay her huge salary. Definitely no problem taking their donations.

@theTiser Interesting point, but we don’t all live in the Pub! The Australian pub culture is really a 70 & 80’s style from last century. This century is more about community & families living together longer in the family home.

@CampbellNewman Perhaps it’s time to simply remove all the tax deductions that the wealthy can make. Then we can reduce tax rates for everyone, tax avoidance for those not on PAYE is rife. Stop the avoidance & reduce top rate to 35% perhaps GST should be 15% & those under $70,000 only 10%!

Another reason some Australians are building their futures elsewhere: 🇦🇺 In 2008, Australia’s top 45% marginal tax rate kicked in above A$180,000. In 2026, it starts at just A$190,000. Adjusted for inflation, the 2008 threshold would be A$290,000 today. That’s nearly A$100,000 of silent bracket creep. Insane.

@AngusTaylorMP Socialism is about the importance of community, unlike capitalism that often revolves around greed & wealth for some, only the elite. No only means no when we all understand the proposal, not just the misinformation distributed for political purposes.

Linda Burney has declared that the Voice referendum was “a devastating outcome” but “a base to work from” and wants to revisit constitutional recognition. No means no! Millions of Australians resoundingly rejected the Voice and dividing Australians by race. Linda Burney’s comments show the Labor Party won’t accept the will of the people and continues to push its rotten identity politics in different ways. Don’t forget that Anthony Albanese combined constitutional recognition and a constitutionally enshrined Voice in one referendum question – instead of sensibly having separate questions – because he was greedy and yearned for his own Paul Keating Redfern moment. And now, Labor wants to change our national flag by removing the Union Jack – a symbolic erasure of our British heritage and inheritance. This Prime Minister is a socialist, a revisionist and a divider. The Coalition I lead will never divide Australians by race. And we will always stand proudly in front of our one national flag because our history is worth celebrating, our way of life is worth protecting, and our nation needs uniting now more than ever.

@SenatorCash Thank you Senator Cash, standing up for the BRITISH flag! You are an Australian senator & should be advocating for Australia today, not the Australia of the last 200+ years. The colonisation of this island by the British is no longer relevant to who we are today.

@latikambourke Pauline Hanson has not changed in 30 years, except that she has become a multimillionaire being a politician in Australia. Be good to have some investigative journalism on how she has developed this wealth working for the people in parliament, or just running a fish & chip shop.

@SkyNewsAust Interesting how a NEWS organisation like Sky/News24 and almost all of their presenters supports someone like Trump regardless of his behaviour. You appear to prefer Opinion over reporting real News. Not a good look for journalism in Australia in 2026

@BilsonhBilson Unfortunately I believe that the UK still considers you a UK citizen if any of your Grandparents were born in the UK. It means a great many people will need a UK Passport to return, or pay to remove their citizenship. They have an enormous data base too!
