@RepThomasMassie @RepBost You are correct. I should be able to carry across state lines when traveling alone, without concerns of being arrested. Especially since our courts just let rapist and killers go free! Also, the criminals always carry without concerns.

When I had my heart failure event the week of Christmas, @MassieforKY, less than 24 hours later, was sitting in my hospital room, along with his lovely wife. They left their family in KY to fly to Charlotte, then rent a car and drive three hours to Raleigh. They sat in my hospital room with me for four hours, then drove another three hours back to Charlotte for their return flight home. That's the kind of man he is. He didn't need to do that. Yet he did that at the very last minute, dropping all other responsibilities and obligations, during his Christmas break, and bearing the expense himself. (I'm not even one of his constituents. I am not a wealthy donor.) You may disagree with Massie's politics or how he comports himself in the public spotlight, but if you have something vile or wantonly ignorant to say about the man you have no personal experience with -- only regurgitating what you've heard from someone else who also knows nothing about the man -- then don't bring it to my timeline. I'm done with the unfounded, ignorant hatred.

It’s sad that a week before this election people are making false and unsubstantiated allegations about me in an obvious attempt to influence the outcome of this election. All of the claims of inappropriate conduct are false. I’ve never offered anyone money in exchange for their silence. I report all of my farm income, including cash, to the IRS. There are no ethics claims filed against me, nor have there ever been any claims filed against me in my 14 years in office. I have consulted legal counsel and we are considering all options.

Correction: Mayor Shepherd does NOT have jurisdiction over the houses in the country being threatened. John Reidelbach, Al Smith, and Jeff Fisher are the Coweta commissioners who approved the project and can STOP @GeorgiaPower from using eminent domain. Time to ratchet this up. @realDonaldTrump

The eminent domain on homes in Georgia, is in the town of Newnan. Their mayor is James Shepherd, and his page says this: "Newnan has always been 'The City of Homes.' I am focused on smart, sustainable development that protects our neighborhoods." How ironic. @cityofnewnanga
