@AdrielTweets I cut it for time but I made the same point, there's definitely an overlap between evangelical contemporary worship and liturgical renewal worship, and an overlap in the intention. A lot of contemporary evangelicalism is very Roman-esque

There's an interesting connection here between contemporary worship conjuring God through music and movements that treat liturgy as a form of magic. My sense is that we mustn't see corporate worship primarily as us "manifesting God" through music or ritual, but God raising us up to where he is.

Ironically thats most likely Paul asking Timothy to bring his personal notebook with the copies of his letters for him to have his own corpus with him before he dies.
For what reason? I believe Paul was the original editor of the Pauline corpus, so yeah, sometimes the seemingly insignificant passages are a big deal.
