Trying to talk with someone from @MrCooper is an absolute nightmare. Passed around from 5 agents before getting transferred to a dead line. Tried talking with a "live agent" online who literally didn't reply to questions. Terrible.

@WillStandridge I've always understood/interpreted it typologically: the offering from human work and toil was insufficient, but a substitute sacrifice was accepted. Hard to find this attested in commentaries, however, which has given me pause to preach it that way.

Families would often keep their valuable livestock in part of the house where they'd be safe and warm. Since the house was full of guests, there simply wasn't room inside for a pregnant woman to give birth, so he was probably born in the house, but where the animals were kept.

@RiversidedotFM The "Made for You" section with automatically generated magic clips/segments/hooks is really clunkly, slow, and unreliable. I've need to export the episode and use another program to create the segments I used to use Magic Clips for. Not a fan of the latest upgrade.

This is such a good exchange. A pastor of a progressive church asks how his LGBT members can produce such great fruits of the Spirit if they’re “so sinful.” Allie’s answer is great. We’re all—LGBT or not—so sinful. People who think they’re LGBT aren’t more sinful than me, but we’re ALL called to deny ourselves, take up our crosses, and follow Him. And that cross we bear might be different from our neighbor’s. The fact that people sin doesn’t mean they can’t exhibit common grace, but the fact of their common grace doesn’t mean they don’t sin or that we affirm sin.

It speaks to * Marriage & Dating * Waiting & Boundaries * Intimacy & Union * Desire, Longing & Anticipation * Delight, Joy & Beauty * Commitment & Faithfulness * Honor & Exclusive Devotion * The Mystery of Love * Theology of the Body & Sex And ultimately, Christ’s extravagant love for his people. Pastors, don’t shy away from this book because you are fearful of it. God gave it to us for our good.
