The C of E may have its troubles at the top, but at the sharp end things seem to be thriving. The church I went to this morning was standing-room only, and everyone belted out the hymns and carols with gusto. Friends tell me the same from their Christmas services.

@CatArthurian @thelochdog @Philippa_Perry @thetimes Better in: texture, lighter, tastier. A traditional Victoria sponge cake isn’t healthy food whatever you put in it. The small amount of margarine you ate in one slice 🤷‍♂️ The problem with the OP was actually a digit missing from the flour -should have been 225g

@Rev_Jo @thelochdog @Philippa_Perry @thetimes 'Better' how? It might be softer and spongier, but what about nutritionally? It can't be healthier! Unsalted butter contains one ingredient. No additives, preservatives, emulsifiers, colourings etc. You are what you eat, and natural foods are always best imo.🥰 Stork:

@CatArthurian @thelochdog @Philippa_Perry @thetimes Mary berry did a bake off once against michel Roux. He used butter and traditional creaming method, she used margarine and all in one method. Even he said her cake was better! Marg all the way here!

I think they just add the name 'Mary Berry' and everyone thinks they are going to make a perfect cake. It's the same with Delia. I wouldn't touch margarine, even though she is reported to have said it makes for a fluffier sponge. Not on your nellie, Mary. I'll stick with natural ingredients, cheers.

@Chrissietutoruk I was bullied out of a teaching job. As were many teachers under that (male) head. I still see people being bullied in my present vocation but it’s hard for me to do anything. I have supported two colleagues, one of whom has eventually stood up to it. Call it out Christie 🥰

This Headteacher called my ocd ‘mind vomit’ 🤮, said he secretly follows me online, called me a ridiculous woman and threatened to get me out on capability (despite four consecutive good appraisals) Over 70 plus staff have left in the past year. Two failed Ofsted. He has cost tax payers a small fortune in NDAs of female staff. He has never offered me a formal apology. I was offered 30 grand to keep quiet by the Trust 🤐 I am happy for him to take me to court if any of my statements are not true. Call out #bullying for what it is. Protect women in #education
