Raining too hard to go out to the War Memorial today, but inside St Hilary Church, West Cornwall we still remembered and gave thanks for the lives given - & still being given - in conflicts across the world; for those left behind; & for those still managing the consequences.

I’ve been using ‘This is Our Faith’, still with original text by Fr Jeffrey John and regularly updated with new photos & images, to prepare teenage confirmands for 20 years. They still love it. It takes the sacraments, scripture, Christology, pneumatology and teenagers seriously

Thanks to all who came to the St Hilary Church Harvest Festival today. The church looked absolutely beautiful. Thanks for the tins, packets and other items which will be taken to the Food Bank. It's great when the community comes together for this kind of celebration.

Wonderful concert from IMS Prussia Cove (i-m-s.org.uk) at St Hilary Church this afternoon. The quality of musicianship is extraordinary, and it's a real privilege to be able to host such a prestigious concert at St Hilary.

Almost impossible to recommend @TheRSC production of “Born with Teeth” more highly. Ncuti Gatwa as Kit Marlowe has enough energy to power a rocket and is well matched by Edward Bluemel as a more naive and inexperienced Shakespeare. If you can get a ticket, GO!
