I remember my first ever playthrough of vanilla KH2.
And was confused as to why the game didn't have High Jump after I beat the game lol.

@Shamaboy11 Yeah, its a common agreement that KH2's conbat focus definitely negatively affected level design. But the combat was so fine tuned that you almost forgive it...until you find out your movement abilities are locked behind grinding Drive Forms lol. KH2 makes weird choices sometimes

As much as I do think that they have overcorrected themselves with non-existent platforming in Kingdom Hearts 2, this combat system ‘almost’ makes me forgive the worse level design due to how super responsive and flashy it is. Critical Mode elevates it even further

@Shamaboy11 I just wish it was more like a hub world like Traverse Town was. Where everytime Sora gained a new ability or magic skill, he could find something new in TT or other worlds when revisiting. But alas KH2 focused more on combat than exploration.

Than I'm an anomaly then lol.
I find Colors to be the weakest Boost game in the original trilogy.
Whereas Sonic 1 is an amazing game & is one of the best Classic games.
