Here’s the scenario (Read entire post): > You get a message with a Zoom link, and you’re not sure whether to click it. > You don’t know if it’s legit, but the person waiting is rushing you. > It’s an opportunity for a huge podcast or a job. > So you click it. > Then you lose everything because the link wasn’t legit, and it was malware… This happens all the time, but @RevokeCash just released an update to their extension!! You can paste the meeting link in and check whether it’s legit before clicking. A proactive feature that can stop you from downloading malware!! Stay Safe & Stay Vigilant

We've become aware of individuals impersonating @Consensys and @MetaMask recruiters on LinkedIn. If you're contacted by someone claiming to recruit for Consensys or MetaMask, here's how to verify they're legitimate: ✅ Check for LinkedIn Verification all of our recruiters are LinkedIn verified. Look for the verified badge on their profile before engaging. ✉️ When in doubt, reach out if you're unsure whether a message is genuine, verify it directly by emailing recruiting@consensys.net. We'll confirm whether the contact is from our team. We'll never ask for personal information, payment details, or anything sensitive during an initial outreach. If something feels off, trust your instincts.

@TiTan_Web3_ @RevokeCash Love this idea! Good call 🫡. Are you most often seeing this with invites to random events w/ potentially malicious links, spam invites to genuine events, or more targeted social engineering from those impersonating contacts of yours?

Big update: Meeting Guard is now live inside the @RevokeCash extension. Fake meeting links are quickly becoming one of the most common ways crypto users get drained. This is completely avoidable, so we built a solution⤵️

Here's my list of security tools everyone should consider using 👇 I get asked a lot, “What security tools should I use to stay safe?”, It’s about time I put together a list of tools anyone can use to help protect themselves!! The list below covers most tools, it doesn’t cover everything, it focuses on the basics. Your knowledge is still the best tool you have, and you should never rely on tools 100%. If something doesn’t seem right, it isn’t. However, tools can help protect you in areas you may not be able to see ⤵️⤵️ Device: Separate device for Web2 and Web3 Use Browser: Best browser @brave Email: Better than gmail @ProtonPrivacy Anti-Virus: Premium Version @Malwarebytes Password Manager: Safest option @Bitwarden 2FA: Yubikey Security Key @Yubico Ad Blocker: Block all ads @AdBlockPlus Crypto Wallet Browser Security: @RevokeCash Extension VPN: Privacy searching the web @Malwarebytes Hardware Wallet: @Ledger Flex Seed Phrase Storage Device: CryptoTag Zeus @Ledger Physical Security: Ring or Google Home Security Education: Free Security Classes @BoringSecurity Data Breach Alerts: Pentester dot com @0dayCTF Mail Address: P O Box is the best for mail not your home Again, this is not all inclusive but for any regular normal user living their life; let this be a baseline of security to help you stay safe!! Stay Safe & Stay Vigilant

Scammers don’t wait for you to check a database. Now @AlertApes labels show up directly in your X feed through the @RevokeCash extension. See the signal before you click, reply, dm, or connect🫡
Alert Apes 🍌@AlertApes

RevokeCash 🤝 AlertApes Over the last two months, @AlertApes has worked hard to flag and call out scammers; but users had to visit our website to check whether a profile was a scammer... That changes now. We worked with @RevokeCash and @fairside to integrate our labels directly into your X feed via the RevokeCash Extension, so you know when you’re interacting with a scam profile. These tags pull directly from the Alert Apes database, labeling profiles as Scammer, SUS, or Fake Ape right next to their X handle, on their profile, and in your X feed. This gives you a clear signal to avoid that profile and reduce the risk of interacting with a scammer! This is all possible thanks to the @RevokeCash extension integration. If you aren’t using the extension, go to the RevokeCash website > Extension > Add to Browser, then refresh your X feed to enable this feature for FREE!
