The days of sowing, comes with sacrifice and hard work but that hard work and sacrifice would only pay off when you sow on the right soil. Different types of soil but only one kind can guarantee you a bountiful harvest and thats the AACparty.com #aacourparty

Brave youths of Rubuki Nasarawa state fiercely confronted the terrorists that attacked them last night around 11pm after boys were done watching Champions league match. I like the growing Influence of D English Alhaji on the youth, the consciousness he’s building in them over self/communal defense. I only hope that his enemies don’t capitalize on it someday to accuse him of incitement of violence.

This is why no one should be arrested on the orders or influence of @UBAgroup Chair @TonyOElumelu. He is a public figure, and a billionaire content creator and the Nigeria Police Force @policeng has no right to detain anyone on his behalf over expression. Mr. @TonyOElumelu knows very well that it is only in Nigeria that police connections are routinely used to violate citizens’ rights. Across the world, public figures are scrutinized and criticized, sometimes harshly. @elonmusk had his private jet tracked for years by a Florida-based teenager, @jackfsweeney yet no law enforcement agency illegally detained the individual. Public Figures like @BillClinton, @BarackObama , @MichelleObama, and @TonyBlair (who are friends with @TonyOElumelu) are constantly subjected to criticism and unflattering commentary, but no police force would entertain arresting citizens on their behalf for such reasons. Only in Nigeria would a billionaire public figure and I maintain “content creator”attempt to use a compromised police system to detain other content creators for expressing unflattering views. This must be rejected outright, freedom of expression is not a crime. Only in Nigeria! #AACOurParty x.com/dammiedammie35…

When armed police officers jump fences to enter someone’s compound instead of following due process, people begin to ask: are they truly police, kidnappers, or assassins? That kind of conduct destroys public trust and raises serious questions about professionalism and accountability.

Where are those stupid Peter Obi supporters that always come here to ask what about Sowore contribution to the public. Unless your performative philanthropy principal, he won’t do charity because he is looking for position or buy people’s votes. Vote Sowore for President in 2027.

They want to turn NBA to a pandering to nosense association. The present NBA President is doing everything possible to destroy the integrity of Bar association because of his hatred and myopic nature. It is left for well meaning Lawyers to fight for their association from this bias minded of a chairman.

NBA NEC CONDEMNS MISUSE OF CRIMINAL PROCESS IN CIVIL AND DEFAMATION MATTERS The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), at its meeting held on Thursday, 7 May 2026 in Awka, Anambra State, adopted a resolution condemning the increasing misuse of criminal law enforcement mechanisms in disputes fundamentally civil in nature, particularly matters relating to defamation and reputational injury. NEC considered recent reports involving the arrest of individuals over a viral social media publication concerning businessman Mr. Tony Elumelu and expressed concern over the growing tendency to deploy police powers in matters that ought properly to be resolved through civil legal processes. The Council emphasized that while false and defamatory publications may give rise to legal consequences, civil remedies such as defamation proceedings provide lawful and adequate avenues for redress without resort to arrest, detention, or criminal prosecution. NEC warned that the criminalisation of essentially civil disputes undermines constitutional safeguards, including the rights to personal liberty, freedom of expression, and fair hearing. The Council further noted that the abuse of police powers in civil disputes risks creating a chilling effect on lawful expression and public discourse. NEC therefore called on law enforcement agencies to exercise restraint and ensure that criminal processes are not improperly invoked in matters that do not disclose recognised criminal offences under Nigerian law. The Council also demanded the immediate release of any person arrested solely in connection with such publications where no lawful criminal offence has been disclosed.

On this very day, many soldiers from Maiduguri realized they were about to be deployed around the Bama axis. Out of fear and understanding of the reality on ground, some dropped their rifles and abandoned the job entirely. As we got to Konduga, we lost the captain to an IED while he was introducing us to the terrain. That was the moment many of us truly understood why some of the Maiduguri indigenes among us had chosen to flee earlier. Some battles never truly leave the minds of those who survived them, and some wounds of war remain long after the gunfire fades. Say no to state sponsored terrorism !!! Ex SF soldier 🥷
