Hi @DFS_India@FinMinIndia@RBI,
In case of #JituMunda, ur role was to inform nation that rules are made for the safety of common people.
However, but no official statement yet.
Banks & bankers are being brutally trolled for following the rules. Plz speak up.
#DocumentsJaruriHai
90 Lakhs Voters excluded in Bengal election as they weren't having proper documents, but Media outraged only wen Bankers ask for standard documents as per RBI guidelines and Bank's Rules.
#DocumentsJaruriHai
Requesting @RBI@DFS_India@FinMinIndia to step in and issue a clear advisory.
The Jitu Munda case sends the wrong message to society.
If people start bringing dead bodies instead of death certificates,
What will happen to banks?
#DocumentsJaruriHai
I pay tax at 35% rate and you are saying bharat in desho main hai jahan sabse kam tax lagta hai.
Give me 30 mins of your time and I will show you my pay slips. These babus ministers keep fooling you with tax rates below 12L. It increases drastically and goes up to 39%
@Naveen_Odisha@nsitharaman Focus shifted from corrupt government officials (not issuing death certificate without money) to honest bank officers who are following RBI guidelines. Bankers are always there for sacrifice.
With deep anguish and urgency bring to the attention of Hon’ble Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs (@nsitharaman) ji about the shocking incident that took place on April 27th at the Malliposi branch of the Odisha Grameen Bank in Kendujhar District. A tribal citizen, Mr. Jitu Munda, was forced to exhume the skeletal remains of his sister and carry them to the bank as proof of her death in order to withdraw his rightful dues.
This followed numerous unsuccessful visits to the bank where he received no assistance or clarity from officials. What is even more shocking is the bank’s attempt to justify this inhuman conduct by citing adherence to RBI guidelines. This reflects a disturbing intent by officials to hide behind procedures and abandon the very people they are meant to serve. In a democracy, rules are meant to empower citizens, not humiliate them.
This horrifying incident has outraged public sentiment across #Odisha and has also drawn international media attention, including coverage by the New York Post and the BBC. Though isolated, this incident highlights the urgent need for a more humane banking administration, especially in remote tribal areas.
Urge Nirmala Sitharaman ji to ensure clear accountability is fixed immediately for this shocking lapse. Also urge you to send a strong signal to all rural banks to guarantee citizen-centric service delivery with empathy and compassion. I am confident that with your compassionate intervention, such inhuman treatment of citizens will not be repeated anywhere else in the country.
State Govt delayed in issuing the needed certificate, but Bank staff came under firing... and now Same State Govt saying to take action.
of d Fools, by d fools, for d fools 🤡
She's Journalist but rather doing Journalism with Facts, Rules & Ground situation, she's vomiting hate towards every individual Bankers serving in remote & rural locations lacking basic infra & adequate staffs from her Posh Flat in Mumbai.

NICOBAR NIGHTMARE!
₹92,000 CRORE "DEVELOPMENT" TO WIPE OUT 1 CRORE TREES, INDIGENOUS TRIBES & ENDANGERED TURTLES!
They're Turning Pristine Great Nicobar Island into a Mega-port, Airport, Power Plant and Township For 3.5 Lakh People.
Cost? Skyrocketed from ₹10,000 crore to ₹92,000 crore.
The Bloody Reality They’re Hiding:
🔻Massacre of nature: 8.5 lakh to 1 CRORE ancient trees being chopped down in a biodiversity hotspot.
🔻Turtle Genocide: Galathea Bay — one of the world’s last major leatherback turtle nesting sites — is being destroyed. Over 600 nests recorded in 2023-24. Sanctuary quietly denotified.
🔻Tribal Erasure: Shompen (only ~245 left, PVTG) and Nicobarese Tribes who’ve lived there for thousands of years are being kicked out. Their forests declared “Vacant Land”.
🔻Disaster Zone: The island sank 3 metres after the 2004 tsunami. 450+ earthquakes in the last 10 years. They’re building anyway.
🔻Economic Suicide: Even government numbers show annual losses of ₹800 crore. Construction costs 2.5–3x higher than mainland. Singapore port is laughing.
All Environmental Laws, Forest Rights Act, Tribal Consent — Bypassed In Record Time.
For Whom?
Corporate Contractors.
This is Ecological and Cultural Suicide.

I travelled through Great Nicobar today.
These are the most extraordinary forests I have ever seen in my life. Trees older than memory. Forests that took generations to grow.
The people on this island are equally beautiful - both the adivasi communities and the settlers - but they are being robbed of what is rightfully theirs.
The government calls what it is doing here a “Project.” What I have seen is not a project. It is millions of trees marked for the axe. It is 160 square kilometres of rainforest condemned to die. It is communities that have been ignored while their homes have been snatched away.
This is not development. This is destruction dressed in development’s language.
So I will say it plainly, and I will keep saying it: what is being done in Great Nicobar is one of the biggest scams and gravest crimes against this country’s natural and tribal heritage in our lifetime.
It must be stopped. And it can be stopped - if Indians choose to see what I have seen.
