Over the past year, we've continued to learn a lot about Multiplayer matchmaking through player data and community feedback. We’re also excited to see all the recent love for Black Ops and Black Ops II, which reinforced that there are many elements of those experiences that players appreciate. Starting this week with Season 05, we're updating Black Ops Classic, Quick Play, and Party Games in Black Ops 7 with a new matchmaking system inspired by those classic games. We'll continue to offer Open playlists in Black Ops 7, and we'll also include Open playlist options in the upcoming Modern Warfare 4 Beta. Dude I can’t wait for that 1 PM Eastern post from the Call of Duty account. Any bets on how they’re gonna try and spin this? I’m thinking they’re gonna go with: “When the update went live, it carried with it an older build of the matchmaking system” Then they’ll not change it or make mention of it at all until closer to the MW4 Beta

@CallofDuty @asha_shar can you please do something with Activision's blantant lies about the matchmaking? Classic matchmaking would've been what like bo1 and 2 but instead they just cranked sbmm to match what was in mw19. Realistically if these lies continue we are going to see a halo part 2

Thanks for the feedback from yesterday’s Kill Block streams. We just rolled out a fix for the bugged suppressor that was using the wrong muzzle flash VFX. Additionally, we have reduced muzzle smoke opacity for all weapons for this weekend’s preview sessions. A clear sight picture is critical to the gameplay experience. @insanegamer52 @CODUpdates You won't ever get a fps cap or fov slider the game is a port it's using the same exact engine as the original game and realistically none of the fixes(maybe backfilling), they more than likely won't do any massive overhauls other than for exploits like they have been doing.
