SBMM is so overexaggerated it's honestly irritating. I had no issues dropping V2 rockets in Vanguard. If SBMM was strong these last several years, that should not have been possible. Especially seeing I didn't do anything to manipulate the matchmaking.
Since Open Matchmaking was added, I always see a wide variety of players in my lobbies. My pings RARELY go above 20 (typically stays under 10). There comes a point where you have to ask yourself if you are as good as you think you are. You likely aren't.

Most people don’t want bot lobbies in Call of Duty. They just wanna play with their friends in lobbies where everybody is different skill levels instead of facing people who match the person in your party who is the highest skill level. We also want it to where when we search for a game it doesn’t take 30 seconds to a minute to find a game because they set a bunch of dumbass parameters to find players. Also stop this bullshit about people hating old games matchmaking. That didn’t happen.

@TheGhostOfHope The problem is that they manipulate you. For instance, if you get a win in Warzone your next game is beyond sweaty with sketchy players. In MP, if you have a good game then you are thrown to the wolves. It's the least organic game on the market

The answer: The Call of Duty community needs a boogeyman to blame for all of their problems. No one can accept the idea that they had a bad game, or several bad games. If that happens, the lobbies are "sweaty" and full of SBMM. People have made videos about how bad SBMM is going all the way back to BO2. The very game people today claim are perfect. The community often has no idea what they are actually talking about. On the subject of SBMM, what they want are bot lobbies. No one today is willing to accept that maybe they aren't as good as they think they are. 🤷♂️

* Persistent lobbies are gone, they now disband after every match similar to bo6.
* SBMM is clearly back, it takes forever to find a game, ping is consistently higher.
* Removed the matchmaking explanation.

@NerosCinema Called it yesterday. And I called it the night before season 5. I knew there was going to be issues with the matchmaking the moment they announced the changes.
