If true, this would explain why Russia didn't take the remaining half of stored T-80UDs in the 22nd CTRB.
Marek Meissner@MarekMeissner

#Rosja info własne: Ogromne problemy z silnikami turbinowymi GTD-1250 używanymi w T-80U i T-80BWM. Dochodzi do sytuacji kuriozalnych – w jednej PolBaz 1.APanc. O problemach produkcyjnych przemysł pisał już swego czasu @JanR210 @KapitanLisowski @MarekKozubel @MattLech23 @pdjezierski @TrompBK @verekerrichard1 @Jonpy99 @HALLONSA @Tom_Lisiecki @Zmechozaur @Krystian_Pogr @Maciej_Korowaj @AGolawski @Martinnkaaaa @AntoniWalkowski @labuszewska @Anna_M_Dyner @FilippDM @MarekAsimo @LachowskiMateus

UVZ has sent the first batch of new BREM-80 ARVs. So now scarce T-80 hulls are used to produce T-80BVM, TOS-3 and BREM-80. Highly likely that 2026 is gonna be the last year of old T-80 hulls re-activation t.me/uvznews/3594

@Rhaescuporis @PetTheGreat1 Do you think this could be due to remaining T-80 hulls being too poor for MBTs? Therefore converted to auxiliary roles.

@Rhaescuporis That's fine. I was wondering if the 22nd T-80U/UDs are being removed.

@aXielMeMer9432 Yes, Cyprus operates 8 BREM-80U to support it's T-80U fleet. UVZ doesn't specify if the modernized ARV is based on T-80BV or T-80U, though

Here are the results of our day-by-day monitoring. It’s enormous amount of work, more than 8000 entries. Main observations: -Civilians are suffering more each year, -In 2025 UAV attacks led to more casualties than all other munitions combined

@Rhaescuporis @moklasen I guess it could be either due to the quality. The mia lists from there have been solid 90th TD with 80th TR at the forefront. A below BMP from said unit with a similar marking.

Turns out the remaining tanks here likely were T-64s and they just pulled them out to do God knows what with them. We see at least 11 of the 26 remaining tanks in the 6018th in this video.
Yulian Oifa@oifayulian

@Jonpy99 there is a lot of movement on 6018th.looks like the old stuff even the worse one is taken on, from other side some new arrivals on right side.

@Jonpy99 If you are're talking about large-scale production, not frontline workshops, then they will need to do a shittion of paperwork, tests etc. It can take years. And companies like Rostec aren't interested in such projects because of limited availability of hulls

Although the number of newly formed division hasn't been disclosed, highly likely it would be the 120th Naval Infantry Division-inheritor to the 120th Guards Rifle Division, wich during WW2 included the 336th Guards Rifle Regiment, later reformed into marines

Interesting change in rhetoric of Ru MoD. Since mid-Dec in posts claiming capture of settlements in Kharkiv and Sumy regions, they're using term 'have taken control of' (взяли под контроль) instead of standard 'liberated' (освободили)
