@WhellumAnthony He has been solid without being brilliant (apart from Gather Round) but it is his 1 howler a game that you can see happening before he does it that hurts most

Why no replies? Essendon Twitter really pisses me off sometimes. Speaking for myself, it's not relentless, personal or abusive. If someone plays well, I will be the first to praise. He's been extremely poor, anyone who thinks different has no idea, it's not about goals against
Scooter@ScooterMcNeice

Think we as fans need to be careful with the relentless vitriol on Ben McKay. Yep every game is up for critique for every player but boy he has copped also some unnecessary personal and abusive comments that i don't think any person deserves

Trying to watch the replay of the footy on @kayosports and seriously how can they justify charging even $3 per month with the quality i am putting up with. Stops every 10 seconds. Honestly terrible service

These "not 15 metre calls" are annoying. They were introduced in the game because players like the great Jim Stynes would chip the ball very short at times. The last one looked like it was half way to the 50 metre line from the edge of the 10 metre kickout square? #AFLDogsSwans

@CraiG_Mc I like him has some mongrel and a fearlessness about him that should keep him in the side long term. Would rather a mistake taking the game on rather than a mistake playing it safe

You know what, I know Day-Wicks had some bad kicks and made poor decisions with the ball in hand in the 2nd half, but he still had some really good important moments outside of that… He is still young and will learn and get better. I’d rather him take those dangerous kicks than not, because eventually he will get better with his decision-making and they will start to come off more often than not. #GoDons

@ScooterMcNeice @SilentGhost263 Apart from that one kick early McKay was awesome today. Ridley as the defensive general really allowed him more freedom and he was brilliant

Day-Wicks is certainly fit. Not sure i have also seen before Ben McKay have an almost 15km distance coverage in a game.

It’s been a bloody hard road for Elijah Tsatas at Essendon. So happy to see him played as a proper midfielder today and show some really promising signs. Finds so much of the footy, and will only improve with proper continuity. Keep him in. 🟥⬛️

@PrinceISname @SilentGhost263 English was still there in the 3rd quarter. 2MP in the ruck gave the team better structure and Blackiston looks more comfortable as a defender at this level than a ruck

Brad giving a bit of insight that the way we played in the latter 5/8ths of the Bulldogs game is how we've trained and want to play. probably speaks to old habits and lack of chemistry in the team that its taken a while but that was the first tiny, promising sign of progress.

@JamesLowrie24 @Cpcc15 It was the fight after the 1st quarter that excited me the most. 2MP in the ruck, Edwards up forward, ADW has a real crack and when you start with a couple showing up others start to follow. Gresham did his bit Merrett lifted as the game went on.

Credit where credit is due. Lot’s thought we’d lose by over 100. 1st half it looked that way but we came out and brought some real heat to the contest. Now it’s on the players to bring that every week. Lots of fans checked out thats ok but I’m sticking fat.

@ScooterMcNeice Effort was there. Looked to be some structure but skills and maybe some unlucky decisions hurt us. Sheezel is a gun. O'sullivan played a brilliant game and LDU were probably the difference in the end. We didn't have the players stand up in the way the mention players did.

Bombers had more inside 50's, more scoring shots, more hit outs, more tackles but they simply lacked anything resorting a system or prove to able to produce basic AFL level skills required. It's a long way back to say the least.

@ScooterMcNeice That quarter you are being generous calling them a VFL team. That was grade level skills. What has happened to some of these players they are running around like they were on the turps last night

@therealsdillon @MrNegative33 Wrong Pgat was the pinnacle but it was isolated to 1 area while the rest of the world suffered. When they went to wrap around it destroyed all southern hemisphere tournaments. LIV has broken that monopoly by taking their players back to the world for everyone to enjoy.

@MrNegative33 The PGAT is the pinnacle of professional golf. LIV is a poor Saudi imitation. The only concerns the PGAT have wrt LIV is that it cheapens the sport in general, and hence tarnishes their brand.

Never understood the PGAT reaction to LIV. There’s 52 weeks in a yr. 4 taken up by the majors, let’s say 4 weeks off. LIV takes up 14. That leaves 30 other weeks, plenty of time for other tournaments. WTF is the problem?

@iamthebigpuma @CS_Murph @livgolf_league @PGATOUR Im not pretending but if the PGA had the foresight to have an Australian Swing or a Southern Hemisphere swing during the US winter there would never have been LIV golf. Australia has always supported Golf when the top players come

@diego_calderon @jerichsen66 Why dont they do that for Tigers event where only 20 players tee it up? Surely only OWGR points should go to the top 4 based on % of field size

@jerichsen66 Nope. OWGR would have added a 25/30/40 place virtual cut anyway… and the storyline would still be there. Did it need to be 10 for yhe drama not really.. T25 would have worked much better
