@WelshBullTrader Gutted for them.
When leading 1 to nil, I felt they would hold it down till the end.
They conceded an unfortunate goal.
Hard luck.

@StretfordDreams @NoushardMUFC So that makes him a virus, toxic and cancerous.

Keep him far away from Old Trafford.
He is a cancer/virus!
Marcus Rashford is set to return to Old Trafford after his loan spell at Barcelona and already, the conversation has started about reintegrating him into the squad.
Let’s be clear… this shouldn’t even be a debate.
Rashford wasn’t moved on because of one bad season. It was a pattern. Poor performances, lack of intensity on the pitch, recurring discipline concerns lateness to training and meetings, questions around professionalism, off-field distractions before match days all while being one of the highest earners at the club on £325k a week.
That combination is exactly what this club has been trying to move away from.
Barcelona had a €30m option to make the deal permanent. They might not want activate it. Whether it’s their financial struggles or a footballing decision, the outcome is the same a club rebuilding itself still didn’t see enough value in committing long-term.
And that matters.
Yes, United haven’t fully solved the left wing problem. The market is inflated, options are limited, and there’s no clear, affordable upgrade available right now. That’s the only reason his return is even being entertained.
But that’s not how serious clubs operate.
You don’t reset standards because of a gap in the squad. You don’t spend years trying to fix a culture, only to reopen a chapter that represented everything that was wrong inconsistency, poor accountability, and a disconnect between performance and reward.
There’s also the dressing room dynamic to consider. What message does it send to players who are buying into higher standards if someone previously sidelined for those exact issues is brought straight back in?
Beyond that, the fanbase has already moved on. The Rashford saga, the debates, the frustrations, the divide it’s been put to rest. Bringing him back doesn’t just affect the pitch, it reopens noise the club has finally started to move past.
Manchester United are supposed to be building forward, not circling back.
Rashford’s chapter had its moments, no doubt. But football moves on, and so should the club.
Selling him isn’t just a football decision it’s a statement of direction, of standards, and of what this rebuild is actually about.

🚨 If Barcelona don’t trigger the €30m buy option for Marcus Rashford and he returns to Manchester United at the end of the season, sources say it’s likely he would be allowed to REJOIN the first-team squad, now that Ruben Amorim is no longer at the club. #MUFC [@RobDawsonESPN]

Maybe in the end, I was not 100% ready for it just yet. However, for me, it felt right to be here in Berlin again and I have no regrets. I struggled a bit up there, lack of energy, but I was enjoying myself playing on the big stage again. And that is what it’s all about.
Next week in Manchester I’ll be back again and hopefully in a better condition🫣😂
A big thank you to Berlin for the reception today and to everyone for all the messages the last couple of days. It really means the world❤️
