I feel like AI coding has made time estimation even harder bc on one hand you know you move more quickly but on the other you don't know much for a particular project, your workflow is always changing as you learn more/ models change, and it's easier for things to scope creep.

@Risky_Chris I'll be okay 💜 I have a hard time not pressuring myself to do more and seek greatness, but I have a strong support system and overall have a good life.

I put together a tui for managing systemd services because I was tired of typing systemctl and journalctl commands and managing tmux panes for logs. I present: sysdui - making systemd so easy you can drive it under the influence github.com/RhizoNymph/sys… You can install it with clone + cargo or from apt. It's similar to existing solutions but I wanted to be able to easily customize it, especially with the include/exclude logic for filtering . Also want to make it easy to set up new services from templates as well as set up vector for logs pipelines for your services inside the interface. Idk what else I'll add, depends on what I find lacking.

@viemccoy Working towards it the best I can 🤞 Hard to uproot my group house and community here so it may take a bit. For now I'm just thankful I'm close by and can visit easily/often. It's unfortunately expensive to have to pay for a place to crash when I do but it's worth it.

I don't know who needs to hear this but GitHub stars are not a measure of usefulness. They're not even a measure of widespread consistent use. They're a measure of one time visibility with time based fixed effects that inflate later numbers due to the larger userbase of GitHub.

@viemccoy Yeah right now it feels like the only city in the world to me. The city I live in is Not Real and I wont be able to keep away from The Real City for very long at a time going forward I think.
