@the_frypod Congrats to Hull city but they have been quite poor all season. There success came from clinical finishing they finished most chances they created.

Sky Sports now “Hull City were magnificent!” Er…no they weren’t. They put 10 men behind the ball. They defended the whole game and scrambled a goal in on 94 minutes. #Boro #UTB

😡 ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Kirsty Gallacher has just shown what a bunch of fly tippers have done to her beautiful country road in Berkshire. This is happening EVERY SINGLE DAY across the UK and the current punishments are a joke. These litter thugs are destroying our countryside with zero fear of real consequences. What do YOU think the punishment should be for fly tipping? Drop your strongest ideas below 👇 Should it be fines, jail time, vehicle seizure, or something even tougher?

I am so fed up with bills I can’t justify and nor should they 2 years ago £30 a month for my water last year £65 and one year later a 25% increase now £81 a month????! I feel like refusing until wages go up by 25% too - council tax nearly £300 a month this is fucking insane

Morrisons SACKS another worker for tackling teenage shoplifter, 62-year-old grandmother and acting team leader Jane Pilborough with 30 years service at the Newark store grabbed a 14 or 15-year-old thief's rucksack as he tried to run off with stolen chicken bites, she walked backwards in front of him asking him to pay first and called for security via her headset but got no response, Pilborough said it was pure instinct in a fight or flight moment and CCTV showed her falling to the ground when he spun around, A clearly shaken Ms Pilborough was helped to her feet and taken to the store's staff canteen after suffering minor injuries to her hand and knee. Morrisons has a strict "deter not detain" policy introduced in 2023 that forbids any physical intervention to protect staff safety with only police allowed to act, bosses sacked her for gross misconduct saying she put herself colleagues and customers in danger and risked the company's reputation if it had been filmed, her appeal was rejected in October 2024 with the firm acknowledging her care for the store but insisting she worsened the situation by not just letting him leave, A spokesperson for the supermarket said: 'We recognise that difficult situations like this can cause real challenges for colleagues in store. That's why, when dealing with a shoplifter, a colleague's safety is always the number one priority and why we have clear procedures in place to de-escalate incidents, to prevent any of our colleagues being put at risk in a physical struggle and coming to harm. 'We believe colleague safety always outweighs the protection of stock. We cannot ignore the potential for violence, and it is essential to remember that only the police are authorised to intervene in these situations. 'Unfortunately, the former colleague's actions and the evidence to the disciplinary hearing showed that, although she had been trained on how to respond to a theft situation safely just a few weeks before the incident, she did not follow that procedure and that led to a physical altercation with a juvenile shoplifter What do you think of the sacking?

Keir Starmer reveals his wife Victoria is encouraging him to stay on as Prime Minister "I confide in her all the time. Hers is the best advice. I'm just thankful that I've got her everyday" She sounds as delusional as you then.

Bradley Walsh has emerged as the clear frontrunner to be the new host of Strictly Come Dancing. BBC bosses are eyeing the 65-year-old Chase host alongside Rylan Clark and Johannes Radebe to lead the show in a male co-host duo format like the Bruce Forsyth era. A source said: “Bradley is hugely ambitious and hard-working… hosting Strictly was a job he was born to do.” But he now faces a huge family dilemma he co-presents hit reboot Gladiators with his son Barney, 28, and taking Strictly could mean ditching it and jeopardising Barney’s future. The Chase has already halted filming for at least a year. It's either them or Holly Willoughby 😂
