Praying before the game?
Make sure your actions match it.
“Your will be done…” — Matthew 6:9-13
How you play between prayers reveals your heart.

Most charter bus drivers hang out at a hotel when they’re not driving.
Then there’s Courtney Ellis of Knight Coach of Starkville.

I don't know what coach nees to hear this, but we need to stop confusing self-neglect with servant leadership.
Burning yourself out in the name of the team doesn’t make you more selfless, but I'll guarantee it makes you less effective in the long run.
You can’t consistently create a high-performance environment from a state of depletion.

Yes! Clarity is kind!
Coach Matt Dennis@CoachMattDennis
When a coach says, “Trust the process,” I think: Do players actually understand the message? Are coaches giving examples players can relate to? Does the process look the same for every player? Do players understand the outcome may be different for each person? Or is “trust the process” just being used to get compliance? A process only works when it’s clear, personal, and purposeful. #Coaching #Leadership #PlayerDevelopment #TrustTheProcess #cmdcoachinglab

Joe Mazzulla on dealing with praise:
“Praise is just as dangerous as criticism. You
just have to remind yourself that neither one lasts too long. And, really, at the end of the day, they're going to forget about you eventually. This is all just a short-term thing that’s going to last a few years, and then 10-15, years from now, nobody is going to talk about you. So it really doesn’t matter.”

DM’ing coaches can help your recruitment.
But just spamming your video link doesn’t work.
DMs don’t need to be formal like emails…
but you still need to introduce yourself.
Keep it simple: 1–2 sentence intro + your video link.
👉 Comment “DM” and I’ll send you a simple template.
