Khaled is a true hero of humanity; he sacrificed his life to protect our collective history while “eco activists” seek to destroy it. Dr. Khaled al Assad was publicly beheaded by the Islamic State on August 18 2015, aged 83. May his memory be an eternal blessing.

They took him to Café Platform in Tehran. The Sorting Hat was placed on his head. He wore Slytherin robes and a green scarf, held a wand in his hand, and blew out his birthday candles like a kid living inside his favorite story. Days later, in Tehran, he was shot by a bullet and turned into a name that must never be forgotten. In memory of Sina, forever 17 years old 🪄

It’s now 40 years since this quite brilliant episode of Yes, Prime Minister was broadcast but somehow it still seems remarkably appropriate after all this time! One of the best comedy series ever and superbly acted.
