Final Part Understanding Public Frustration While Recognizing the Wrong Target: Pastor E.A. Adeboye Is Not Our Problem No, Pastor Adeboye is not our problem. He speaks. He spoke in the 1990s. He spoke in the early 2000s. He spoke in 2010. He spoke in 2020. He spoke in 2025. He has spoken across administrations, regardless of who governed or governs as President. The real question is: How many of us were listening? Did I hear you ask, “What did he say, and when?” I will share two of the most relevant examples- not only because they are factual, but because they embody the pathway forward for our beleaguered country, if we are finally ready to listen, act, and compel our government to lead the reforms Pastor Adeboye has long advocated. 1. November 2025 - A Direct Public Message to President Tinubu Contrary to the misinformation circulating online, Pastor Adeboye’s strong message was delivered in November 2025, during the Holy Ghost Service- not this week. He said: “You can only advise the Commander‑in‑Chief; you cannot command him. But I’ve tried. God is my witness.” “Tell our security chiefs to get rid of these terrorists within 90 days or resign.” He added: “They must eliminate the terrorists and their sponsors, no matter how influential.” These are not the words of a passive observer. These are the words of a citizen - an influential leader - demanding results, accountability, and consequences for failure. This is the same Pastor Adeboye some are attacking today. He issued one of the strongest public demands for accountability ever made by a Nigerian religious leader. But how many of us were listening? What did the President do with that message? And what did we do with it? 2. October 1, 2020 - A Public Call for Structural Reform At a national governance forum co‑organised by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and the Nehemiah Leadership Institute to mark Nigeria’s 60th Independence Anniversary, Pastor Adeboye critiqued our dysfunctional governance structure: “It is ridiculous that a traditional ruler must inform a local government chairman before he travels.” He went further: “We all know that we must restructure. It is either we restructure or we break. You don’t have to be a prophet to know that. Now, we don’t want to break up - God forbid.” He proposed a “United States of Nigeria” - a governance model with a President and a Prime Minister, rooted in institutional effectiveness. These are not the words of a man indifferent to Nigeria’s future. Nigeria is structurally dysfunctional. As presently constituted, cycles of elections without correcting the underlying structure will only degrade - but God forbid- collapse this country. Now that we know - from just two of his many significant public statements that Pastor Adeboye has long been speaking truth to power on the hydra-headed crises that cripple our nation‑building process, the real question becomes: What are we all now going to do about it? “Shall these bones live?” Like Ezekiel in the valley of dry bones, we stand in a moment of national reckoning. The bones can live - but only if we act. It is time for Nigerians to let the image of our 2‑year‑old baby held captive by our common enemies galvanize us to collectively rescue that child and through her rescue our nation. The answer, my compatriots, is in our own hands. Obiageli “Oby” Ezekwesili A Mother June 4, 2026 ✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾

First of all, Remi Tinubu is not a pastor in RCCG. She was ordained a deaconess many years ago, which is the first level of ministry. Beyond that, there are additional stages that require years of service, commitment, and proven dedication before anyone is considered for higher ministerial responsibilities like that of the PASTOR. The church does not wake up and ordain people as pastors out of nowhere. More importantly, Remi Tinubu has never been given a pulpit or platform to address the congregation as a pastor in RCCG. She is a deaconess, not a pastor. Most of you know this already, but facts are less appealing than the false narratives that rocks your boat. Only God will help you all.

Daddy Adeboye is still one of the most humble preachers of his ranking and stature in this world. If Daddy Adeboye was Nigerian President, I am very sure things won’t be this terrible, we see His global leadership in Rccg, we see how He built redemption camp. The man is a global institution of greatness! I dare say he is the most influential Pentecostal pastor in the world too. Rccg is a universe on its own and the man leads it with humility. Daddy Adeboye once said you will not make heaven if you don’t pay tithes. He later came to correct that publicly! Publicly! Many younger preachers won’t even dare do that! The man said recently that GOD DOES NOT KILL!! Same thing we have been saying for years in the christocentric community. He said we should stop attributing death to God, he said Job was wrong, God doesn’t give and take away! At his age! Baba is over 80!! Bro, humility na water!! He responds to social media criticisms, he clears the air on our expectations of him around politics. This is a man whose ministry houses governors, wife of president , senators etc If the man chooses not to say a word, no one can do a thing, we will all rant online and that’s it. The man chose to speak out of a fatherly responsibility to his flock! Leave exegesis one side o brother mi, if you don’t learn anything from Daddy Adeboye’s humility, you are growing at all! When Daddy lost his son and kept preaching through it, na that time I know say General nor be uniform o, na iyalaya training. You know I will disagree till forever on doctrine but what I don’t ever do is close my eyes to the valuable virtues in other preachers. May God keep and bless Daddy Adeboye!! @rccghq @PastorEAAdeboye

@theboy_him96020 @Row_Haastrup @B_1_G__ @Iamstephkesh I understand you’re slow so I’d take the pain to explain. You said you’re a Christian and then proceed to say “I hate fools like you”. That says nothing about Christianity. I understand you’re a Christian just to fill forms and that’s fine. After some time, you can come back God.

No one has dragged one single Imam or Alfa; No one has dragged the Chief Imam of the National Mosque; No one has called out the head of NASFAT or Answarudeen; Not one single person has demanded that any one of them lead a protest. But it’s okay to demand for a protest from an 84-year old man for you who is feeling the heat & rubbish policies of this wicked administration the most. Make we no lie, you never ready 🤣

@Morris_Monye I'm ashamed to be an RCCG member. The prayer walk was in Jonathan era but this people are lying to us that it was in 2020. This Ojota prayer walk was my first protest ever and that was 2012, Adeboye lead us that day. I wish my old Facebook was not hacked.
