@LewisBower2021 I think Oussama Assaidi was the moment I truly learned that these sort of clips are often a bit selective. But this kid does look very talented, let's hope a year or so of polishing can smooth some of those rough edges you mention.

@monkeysponge Having been to gigs where phones are banned, I fully agree. Thought it was a bit draconian at first, but once you've experienced it, gigs without a ban don't feel the same.

And then a question of how much "better" those decisions are. Different people will have different feelings.

Following a setback in the pursuit of Lutsharel Geertruida earlier today, Liverpool have reached an agreement to sign Rennes centre-back Jérémy Jacquet. The deal is understood to be worth £55m plus £5m in add-ons, with the 20-year-old remaining at Rennes for the rest of the season. Medical already in place for tomorrow. That said, there remains a degree of caution within English media, with reluctance to label it fully done until final formalities are completed.

@LFCApproved Last year, Nuñez & Jota couldn't get a sniff at goal playing as the 9. Then, I blamed them as players. Looking at it now, I think the system and the style does not suit a striker. But we need one that does - we lost Diaz, Salah isn't scoring, and we spent £200m on strikers.

The last 3 games… PSV - 1-0 down, Van Dijk was playing volleyball. Reaction was solid, equalised with the next chance. 10 shots after our goal with some good opportunities, then concede again. 8 shots after with two sitters missed, concede again. Forest - Many chances to take the lead, concede. Many chances to equalise, concede. City - Concede a stupid early penalty, heads drop. They take the lead, reaction is good, equalised. Goal disallowed, heads dropped. Game gone. There’s chances to score goals to take the lead and then chances to get back into games, and the players are just not taking them. I blame Slot more for picking the same dross but, it’s on the players heads too.

@BigRedSulk This is usually a bastard to track down. I tried loads of things that people swore worked for them - various eco settings, the bit depth, all sorts. In the end I think it's just my TV isn't bright enough to properly handle HDR. But there are a fuck ton of things it could be.

@Brainyboss61168 @LFCApproved That would then allow a front three (Isak-Wirtz-Salah or Isak-Ekitike-Wirtz) to play more narrow. Getting them closer to goal and in more natural and dangerous positions. Both systems we propose address the same issues, and probably look very similar in practice.

@Brainyboss61168 @LFCApproved Agreed that we have players who can play there, I think in the system in my mind it's Grav as an auxiliary third CB when needed. In practice our systems probably aren't too different, depending on where the ball is. I think we agree mid needs more bodies, and width from FB/WB
