He knew VVD was coming and tried to make the most of the impact by "flying" to make the tackle seem worse than it was. The ref didn't buy it, and Gana got on with it. The fan however, have refused to let it go.

Referees have a higher threshold for yellow/red cards in this derby because both sides are overly physical and exaggerate the impact of challenges to try to get opponents booked. Gana knew exactly what he was doing; the ref didn't buy it.

@longy0601 @SavEliiz2014 Holding and grappling in the box during set pieces happens all the time in football. It's always done by both sets of players. The key question for the officials would be whether the ball was actually in play when that (rather convenient) screenshot was taken by the OP.

Everton & Tottenham get refereed differently to the other 18 teams in the league btw. ESPECIALLY on derby day. We used to get apologies, we don't even get that anymore. Instead they go on 'ref watch' on Sky Sports & defend every single decision ever. Don't think I've ever seen them disagree with the referee's decision

The land was originally provided by the government (at a nominal backdoor rate). Demanding compensation from that same entity to allow a public access road to a heart institute is unfair and unchristian. You’re in effect selling the shadow of the donkey.
