I live in Abu Dhabi and have two small children. for a family I'd suggest Abu Dhabi over Dubai, better pace of life, less traffic etc. For schooling, you largely get what you pay for. The two "embassy schools" (british and american) are not for profit, the rest are for profit - read into that what you will! School culture wise, I think we will look a lot more closely at where we live once the kids are a bit older.

Who here is raising children in Dubai? What's the experience like with international schools and raising children in UAE society?
I'm considering very seriously moving there with my 3 boys, they're small now but will be school age in about 3 years.
