It takes a LOT of political courage to come out in support of Data Centers right now. China and the far left have spent a lot of money on fake information turning our people against ourselves. We need a prosperous and free country. We need the best AI systems on the planet. If we allow China to win the AI race, we will be their slaves. Even worse than China’s interference to me is the actions of Anthropic. They are one of the worlds largest companies, they have created one of the best AI bots on the planet, yet they are on the news every day telling you AI must be regulated and it’s going to take your jobs. They are begging for Government interference and the slowing of data centers. Why? They want to pull the ladder up from behind them. They want to shut down competition and control what information you are allowed to see. If Democrats were in charge, we would already have a national moritorium on data centers, there would only be enough compute for Anthropic, and no one else could compete. This would make the radical liberals at Anthropic the “guardians of truth”. They would manipulate search results and distort information to fit their world view. They would show you their truth, not the real TRUTH. The only fight against this is a free market. Multiple AI bots all competeing. We need google’s, we need Elon’s, we need Zuck’s, and we need many more. The only way this competition can happen is if we have enough compute to make it cheap enough to run these smaller competitive models. Data centers do not use up water. They don’t not increase electricity bills. They do pay an enormous amount of taxes to your local community. They also allow for a free market of ideas. If we keep compute low enough, and keep government small enough, we can enter into a prosperous moment for humanity with AI. This revolution in technology will dwarf the dawn of the internet. But if we fight the data canters like China, Anthropic, and the far left want us to, compute will be expensive. There will not be a battle of ideas in AI. And our kids will be slaves to a machine. Thank God we have @DavidSacks guiding the President on this.

If @POTUS really trots out Pulte, Patel and a crew of political apparatchiks posing as intel experts on Thursday night to announce they've uncovered "evidence" of foul play in 2020, it'll only heighten fears that he'll claim an "emergency" down the line and claim extraordinary fed power over elections. If so--and there are plenty of other signs of manipulation brewing-- the most important battles of the midterms may be in the courts.
