@linneaflins @zetabeams hmm okay I was reading it as (missing or murdered)+(indigenous)+(women, girls, and 2-spirit)+(LGBTQQIA+) but I suppose it could also mean (missing or murdered)+(indigenous)+(women, girls, 2-spirit, or LGBTQQIA+), but the "and" between girls and 2-spirit indicated the first to me

You have to build 5 decks (W,U,B,R,G) with 100 cards each (no commander) with only cards from each color and artifacts/colorless, max 1 copy of each card 1. if you do this for vintage (no set restrictions), what is the power order of the colored decks 2. same but all the cards have to be legacy legal 3. same but for modern the power order is determined by the decks playing round robin against each other, not in a vacuum, so take that into account

@oEltinho @SamuelHBlack @MartinJuza How could colorless be possibly stronger than any color? The card pool for any of the monocolors is strictly wider than for colorless.

@SamuelHBlack @MartinJuza Vintage I'd say: Blue Big void Colorless White (Lurrus and White Init) Black Red (both are very close support colors, black get the edge due bazaar decks and Lurrus) Green

@Whilfrith @MaffiMTG @darkvulpine Yeah, I know this is a triggered ability. You can still respond by cracking to both Pithing and this, it's just you respond when Pith is on the stack, and respond when the trigger for this is on the stack. You don't know what card will be named either way. Don't see any+

It’s going to be real awkward explaining to FNM Fred that the fetch land they played on turn 1 and didn’t crack is now a wastes.

@MaffiMTG @darkvulpine Why wouldn't you be able to? The first ability is a triggered ability. Sure, the land enters without a chance to respond, but you can respond to the trigger instead

@ironcrakka Am I crazy for reading the "just make anything up" as referring to Biggs frequenting the gay nightlife scene on Tatooine? It seems far more reasonable to me they're talking about that (which is actually made up) than not knowing Biggs.

@wverms @nestapendragon Those are equally as new as Geometer's Arthropod. Zaxara's being pointed at since this situation's been done six years ago, establishing precedent.

@nestapendragon This card should have said "look at the top X cards of your library, where X is the value of X for the spell that was cast" or something to that effect, but they want to truncate effects (e.g. "enters the battlefield" is now "enters") so they have more room for longer rules text.

@PreferredTrade @DaveLercher @MrJoshV8 @SaffronOlive +if the creature is prepared. But as I said, casting the bolt made the creature no longer prepared. So creature is prepared, cast two spells, cast bolt and creature becomes unprepared and trigger the ability, the ability resolves and creature becomes prepared again

@PreferredTrade @DaveLercher @MrJoshV8 @SaffronOlive The reminder text doesn't use "when". Casting the prepared spell makes it automatically become unprepared. The cast trigger, meanwhile, is indeed a triggered ability. But nothing says it can't trigger while the creature is prepared. Just that it will do nothing when it resolves+

@PreferredTrade @DaveLercher @MrJoshV8 @SaffronOlive You enter turn prepared. Cast two previous spells. Cast bolt. Becomes unprepared as a result (nothing in the mechanics article indicates this is a trigger or that it waits until the spell reaolves), the third spell trigger goes on the stack. Trigger resolves. Prepared again.

@DaveLercher @MrJoshV8 @SaffronOlive Could presumably also cast it as your third (presuming you enter the turn prepared) and it'll re-prepare itself. So as long as you start your turn prepared, and bolt is one of 1st, 2nd, OR 3rd spell, it'll re-prepare.

@MrJoshV8 @SaffronOlive not the way you think it works. but if prepared you can cast bolt as your 1st/2nd spell to only cast 2 other.

@MostlyMonkey @nightlightra1n The only time I've seen non-simultaneous is when opposing has a left turn, which can't happen in this case.

@nightlightra1n Not all intersections have simultaneous reds for oncoming traffic. A solid 25% or so don't, in my experience

People are asking how this apartment works. It's very simple. There are three levels (no other apartment in that building has three floors btw). There are three exits: a front door to the hallway, a back door to a staircase, and an elevator to the lobby. [1/?]
