@USA_Canuck @BrianRoemmele We better start building emp devices at scale, but probably AI will anticipate that and take counter measures like shielding way before we get a chance to use that.

Wow, it’s happening 8500 Robot Deployed. China’s Massive Robot Rollout for the Power Grid China’s State Grid is making one of the largest embodied AI commitments yet: ¥6.8 billion (~$940M USD) for ~8,500 robots in 2026 alone. This isn’t a pilot, it’s a structured national deployment across inspection, live-line work, fault handling, and logistics. Breakdown: 5,000 quadruped robots (e.g., from Unitree, Deep Robotics) for tough terrain and substations. 500 humanoids for high-value live electrical tasks (~¥2.5B allocation). 3,000 dual-arm robots for equipment operation inside facilities. Projected wins: 5x inspection efficiency, 60% faster fault response, 80% fewer safety incidents, and ¥500K–800K annual labor savings per unit. Rollout ramps from Q1 pilots to full scale by year-end, aiming for 30%+ penetration in key areas by 2026 and digital twin integration by 2030. Suppliers include Unitree, UBTECH, Fourier, Deep Robotics, and AgiBot. This marks a shift to real-world, utility-scale embodied robotics—practical economics driving adoption in critical infrastructure. No hype required; the numbers speak for themselves. We in the US need to support Tesla and Optimus more than ever as this is the only US company that has build a decade of robots, with wheels. And can scale rapidly.

@elonmusk I do not understand why not funding an organization would be proof of anyone's personal believes. Can't see inside someone's brain and reasoning. E.g. Say I'm not funding anything, what does that tell about me? That I'm poor, selfish or do not believe in anyone but myself or? 🫢

@CyberRobooo Too many cuts in the vid, and too few on the skin. 😆 Cut the skin to show its not a person and still can do all shown in a continuous video. Now where did we see that before?

Holy… is this really not a human? That was my reaction too,I could hardly believe it. This is an ultra-humanlike humanoid robot. 1.73 m tall, 70 kg, with 115 degrees of freedom across the body,36 in the hands alone, and full-body tactile skin. … This is KAI, the first humanoid robot from Shenzhen-based KinetixAI. It’s essentially a 1:1 human replica, except it has no face. I wonder if it could use Aheadform’s M1? that will be interesting. Powered by its KAI World Model and trained on large-scale Engocentric data, it can fold clothes, use tools, handle deliveries and takeout, and assist with childcare, covering a wide range of household tasks. Ok, expectations for Tesla Optimus v3 have been raised once again.

@elonmusk Hint: Now if only an offline, private version would exist that would let people who can't afford doctors anymore, existed, so they can at least diagnose and seek directed help in form of meds, supplied by a company, perhaps called MedX or Xmed? I see a new company idea..

Current release of Grok is much than beta 1, which beat Opus in this arena. We usually update the model twice a week. Try the current version of Grok Heavy and you will be pleasantly surprised.
X Freeze@XFreeze

Grok-4.20-Beta 1 just ranked #1 in Medicine & Healthcare on Arena (with style control) The multi-agent version scored #3 xAI literally has two models in the top 3 for medical AI....dominating the leaderboard And this is not just about rankings. Grok has actually helped people through serious, life-or-death medical situations in the real world Medicine is one of the hardest AI categories to shine in because it requires the utmost precision, and Grok just crushed it Grok is designed to actually help humanity... and this proves it

@elonmusk Good, original movies are rare these days of too few competing studios. All they dare release are sequels, prequels, remakes and re-imaginations they feed the young, unaware of the brilliant originals, of which those "new" ones mostly can't even touch the quality of. Sad.

@elonmusk 💯 The primitive, lie-and-pretend-to-be-someone-else skill, called acting, will fade out from the white screen, similar to mute and black & white movies. People will just be able to create them at home, either recorded or real time, in games. Democratizing arts & information
