The LIV Golf team Smash GC is rebranding to OKGC with Oklahoma resident Talor Gooch as captain. This is the first time that a LIV Golf team is "directly aligned" with a U.S. market. Head of Team Business Operations, Katie O’Reilly, released the following statement about the rebrand: “We’ve always believed in the power of team identity, and we’re now seeing our teams develop stronger, more authentic connections across the globe. We’ve seen that momentum build in markets like Australia, the UK, South Africa and Korea, and OKGC represents the next step in bringing that approach to the United States. Oklahoma gives us an incredibly strong foundation having been a market we’ve had success in before (LIV Golf Tulsa 2023), and with Talor Gooch leading the team, there is an authentic connection to the market.”

@dollaballers @Tbauer12 @tddt_5115 Great goalies don’t lose their job twice and in those years Hofer and Husso were better than him and that’s why they made playoffs. They went with experience on who played and lost. It’s that simple. He’s been a bad 6.5 million a year contract

@dollaballers @Tbauer12 @tddt_5115 I mean he’s 7-14 since his playoff run to the cup. I guess if that’s what you’re looking for than yea he’s your guy. 2 of those playoff years he had GAA over 3.6 and one was almost 5. Last year he was ok but he proved he can’t carry you anymore and lost.

If he has an Olympic caliber team in front of him then sure. Binnington has been bad for years. A good goalie doesn’t lose his job twice. He’s just paid a lot so he plays
