A few days ago, I conducted a 100-piece British orchestra, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to perform India’s National Anthem at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, London. This is the largest orchestra ever to record India's National Anthem and it is spectacular! The "Jaya He" at the end gave me goosebumps. Felt great as an Indian composer :-) I am sharing this historic recording with every one of you this Independence Day - use it, share it, watch it, but with respect :-) It is yours now. Jai Hind. What an honor to be invited to the season finale of the mighty London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall at Southbank Centre . The program was "Wozzeck: Wretches Like Us", conducted by the brilliant Edward Gardner. Saying I was blown away doesn’t quite cover it. The piece left me wrecked in the best way - emotionally draining, bleak, yet utterly exhilarating. Every musician, vocalist, and chorister was flawless. The way it all locked together, from the playing to the visuals and lighting, was pure alchemy. I walked out dazed, moved, and deeply grateful to have witnessed it. The International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA) hosted the #InternationalLeopardDay Webinar. In his opening remarks, Dr @SPYadavIFS Director General, International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA), highlighted the importance of global collaboration for leopard conservation. He noted that while leopards are highly adaptable across diverse habitats, they face growing threats such as habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, poaching, and declining prey. He emphasized that conservation efforts must go beyond borders, requiring coordinated action, knowledge sharing, and sustained commitment. He reiterated IBCA’s role in fostering partnerships and strengthening global cooperation.
