Banks will not usually lend to Clubs as they represent a reputational and financial risk, so instead most borrow from owners instead. This is fine until it is not fine. Total borrowings by summer of 2025 was over £545m up £383m

Finances for all League One teams are now in (some clubs do not submit full figures) so here is a summary for 2024/25. Revenue averaged 12.5m but skewed at the top end by Birmingham and Wrexham with well over £33m each (and of course both were promoted). This compares to an average of £9.9m in 23/24 and £10.7m in 22/23.

But I suppose, unlike quite a few on- for example- your channel, I don’t pump out anti Lab propaganda. Legal prof feedback is that this 'solution' is unproven, has no evidential backing, contradicts Lammy's previous views & has no manifesto mandate. Hard to argue with any of that.

@LastBlairite We will gradually get a fairer hearing as the measures we are taking become tangible to people. E.g. economic indicators only now improving, cash for pensions, benefits and fuel costs hits people's bank accounts only from April, Pride in Place spending only starts in May 2027.
