We need a national pause on ALL immigration for the next two years. In the meantime, every single person here on a green card, asylum, refugee, work visa, etc. needs to be reviewed, their social media checked and interviewed in person. Anyone with ANY violations of law or on any public assistance should be immediately deported. Likewise for anyone posting or making subversive or anti-American statements. Time for a MASSIVE cleanup of this country. We only want people here who love this country and want to be AMERICANS.

🚨Act Blue reportedly LIED to Congress about vetting foreign donations. Per the New York Times: Foreign donors “who paid through third-party apps like Apple Pay, PayPal or Venmo were not asked for passport information.” As the NYT notes: “Federal election law prohibits foreign citizens or people who are not permanent residents from donating directly to federal candidates or political action committees. Lying to or obstructing Congress is a crime.”

It would behoove our NATO allies to appreciate that this sentiment is *very* widely shared, including amongst erstwhile boosters of trans-Atlantic relations.

Here’s an idea: Why don’t we open the Strait of Hormuz, and then instead of Iran charging $2M per ship to pass through we charge a $2M per ship “escort fee” — which could be waived for counties contributing to the mission to secure the Strait? Automatic identification system (AIS) data shows that the strait was averaging more than 153 vessel transits per day in the weeks leading up to the conflict. That’s more than $300M a day, or $9.2B a month, we could take in. It’s like a tariff on all travel through the Strait!

This story was based on “six people familiar with the planning,” and I am sure none of them actually read the President’s speech before it was delivered. Politico did not even reach out to the White House for comment. Another example of why you should not blindly trust what you read from the legacy media. This is what they do - call up random sources who just make things up, and then they report it as fact.

The reason Democrats started what is now the longest shutdown in DHS history is because they were demanding dramatic reforms to the way ICE operates. They now get zero of those reforms after negotiations fell apart in the Senate. None. Dems are claiming victory because Republicans are now agreeing to a DHS funding bill with zero dollars for ICE & CBP and Dems can message to their base that they held the line and didn’t fund Trump’s mass deportation agenda. But ICE & CBP are already pre-funded (not entirely) by the One Big Beautiful Bill, immigration enforcement operations have continued without issue, and Republicans plan to give ICE & CBP even more money in a second reconciliation bill, which will require no Democratic votes in the Senate. So what did this DHS shutdown accomplish, other than hurt a lot of people & create chaos at airports?
