@BladeoftheS This obsession with more tax and zero mention of government waste is weird.

I think everybody is getting really sick of Governments who don't do anything because they have to ask billionaires for permission.

@mcgregormackenz Great idea. Let's start by using his pension portfolio for the grant and watch the returns?

There’s delusion, and then there’s THIS 😂 Phil Jones (Editor of The Jeremy Vine Show) -“Meet them on the beach, give them a grant to set up business” Someone section this traitor immediately, he’s gone insane. What a dangerous ideology. As well as being completely wrong.

@LukeWhosTalking Burnham's one scruffy prick and an embarrassment, but it's OK because there he not the only one. Love these thick fuckers, so binary in thought. No wonder uk is 3 world.

@CallumLyon So, an 18 year old living at Home with zero experience, zero living costs needs in excess of £40k a year. No wonder youth unemployment so high.

Minimum wage in the UK should be around £19.65 an hour, and believe it or not, Freddos prove it. Back in 2005, minimum wage was £5.05 an hour and a Freddo cost 10p. That meant one hour of work could buy you 50 Freddos. Fast forward to 2026. Minimum wage has risen to £12.71 an hour, but a Freddo now costs 39p. One hour of work only buys you around 32. Wages have increased by roughly 152%, yet the price of a frog-shaped chocolate bar has gone up by around 290%. If minimum wage had actually kept pace with the price of Freddos, it would now be closer to £19.65 an hour. It sounds ridiculous using chocolate to measure the economy, but that's not really the point. The point is that millions of people can work full time every week and still feel like they're falling further behind because the cost of almost everything is rising faster than their wages. At some point, something has to give.

@talkSPORT @Chelsearory @ade_oladipo1 The child from Chelsea says what? Talksport has officially become a parody of itself. Absolute rage baiting drivel. I like the H&J show, although only when they're both doing it.

🤯 "It's gone mad!" 😳 "£40m for a reserve goalkeeper!?" 💷 "Considering his PL experience and whatever else, he's a £15m goalkeeper!" @ChelseaRory and @Ade_Oladipo1 cannot believe #LUFC are about to pay £40m+ for #MCFC's James Trafford! 🧤

@BladeoftheS So nieve... There is plenty of tax revenue which is wasted by gov dept, local councils, NHS admin, etc, etc (endless list of bureaucracy). But, fuck it, let's just tax some more. Like these lefties don't know how an economy works. #allcarrott

If you get rid of Landlords, the houses still exist. Make being a Landlord unprofitable and all the parasites will go somewhere else. Then there will be houses to buy and they will be affordable.

Deep down, everyone must know the only fair way to calculate council tax should be per eligible person over 18 residing in that area. Everyone pays. The size or value of your house is completely irrelevant. Four adults in a property? That’s four adults using council services, so 4 adults pay. But @andyburnham and other leaders are too cowardly to do it this way. Punishing those who’ve done well is way easier and mark my words, will be the way they reform this.

Say what you want about Christianity... But one thing I've noticed is that zero Christians are out there running around screaming "Jesus is Lord" and then violently st*bbing, sh00ting, and m*rdering people. It seems to only be the“Allahu Akbar” people who are doing this.

@DanielJHannan Imagine a commercial business treating thier top 1% customers, generating over 30% of their income, so poorly. The Labour government are out of their depth and clueless about how finance works. Instead pure vanity, craving popularity from people with zero contribution.

You don't have to be a genius to leave Elon Musk speechless in a live interview. Despite his carefully cultivated image, he's often out of his depth, and whatever judgment he has seems increasingly clouded by ideology, xenophobia, and grievance. That said, he was up against Zanny Minton Beddoes, the first female Editor-in-Chief of The Economist, an exceptionally accomplished, sharp, and experienced journalist. Elon never really stood a chance.
