In the last 6 months every black and south asian champion has either been white washed or had their natural features like nose/lips altered.
It is sad that we are in 2026 dealing with such racism and this keeps happening.

@CoreyWriting It's because the white consciousness has elevated above this type of thing. We value our people based off what they can contribute to civilization. It's only a problem because the other races can't match us in this way. So we have to re-learn tribalism in order to survive.

@KyleHydeFan Gamers are starting to move away from what has good graphics in favor of better gameplay. Games like OOT are STILL getting new players to this day. There's a lesson to be learned there. I'm all for people exploring fun new ways to play games like this.

@BrianNiemeier This sentiment is starting to catch traction. Everyone chasing these HD massive remakes but they NEVER recapture the magic. These 5 year+ dev cycles are absolutely killing franchises imo. FF17 should ditch anything open world and return to turn based combat. Return to the basics.

@warper2509 I think the combat is extremely good for what it is. That being said I hate it. Its my opinion that FF desperately needs to return to turn based. This game doesn't even feel like FF. It feels like a dark souls modern RPG with a FF7 skin. I absolutely loathe this game lmao.

A Square conseguiu o impossível, unir a velocidade do action RPG com a alma estratégica do clássico. O sistema de ATB que pausa o tempo te obriga a pensar, gerenciar recursos e trocar de personagem, em vez de só "esmagar botões".

@JRPG_Pursuit Depends on what you want. If you want to experience the golden era then it's PS1. If you want what I consider the actual best JRPG's of all time I'd say PS2. If you're a retro gamer and love RPGs I'd say SNES.

2. FF12 - Ages better every year. Wish they expanded on the combat with future games. They were on to something with this game.
3. FF14SB - ehh. not really an mmo player but was fun

@warper2509 Garnet because Dagger just bugs me. I think it's too masculine and it's weird when the whole game starts referring to her as Dagger. I only used Dagger on my first playthrough ever and changed to Garnet every time after that.

@TheDavidVinc I hear a ton of great things about FF13-2. For me the problem is that I have to get through FF13-1 lol. I just can't get through that game no matter how hard I try. My all time "overhated" game is chrono cross. I know it's flawed but I recommend it for the OST alone.

@TheDavidVinc Your reason makes total sense. I'd argue the peaks of FF are greater than the peaks of DQ though. I find myself returning to great FF games all the time but I never really have that itch for DQ. However atm DQ is amazing and FF is in the gutter for me. Modern FF is NOT for me

Although I absolutely adore both, I would have to go with Dragon Quest simply because it's much more consistent. With Final Fantasy you never know what you're going to get, but with Dragon Quest you know that you're going to get a top tier quality RPG experience.

@mask_bastard Not really a "hot take" or anything but I can't stand Botw gameplay. Bought it and played it on release and never picked it back up. Never even bought Totk. If I wanted open world nonsense I'd play something else. I want Zelda to go back to the tried and true formula.
