Collaborative study by @BrodskyIgor & @SunnyShinLab led by co-1st authors @RinaDoesScience, Daniel Sorobetea & @JennaJZhang uncovers a TNF-IL-1 signaling circuit in monocytes that controls intestinal Yersinia infection. hubs.la/Q02llbCJ0 #InnateImmunity #MucosalImmunology

@jduncanlowey @BrodskyIgor @SunnyShinLab @JennaJZhang Aw thanks for following our work, hope you like this paper too!

@mayer_barber Overall, this work reveals a TNF-IL-1 signaling circuit that promotes control of Yersinia by monocytes in intestinal pyogranulomas. Thanks to all of my lab mates, collaborators, and mentors for your support! (7/n)
English

@mayer_barber Interestingly, IL-1 receptor was required on non-immune cells, similar to IL-1 signaling on epithelial cells being important for control of Legionella. doi.org/10.1016/j.chom…. Future work will identify the specific cell type involved. (6/n)
