It opens up another attack vector. A collaborative effort from some of the usual and the not so seen suspects, who were doing this divide shit in 2022 & 2023. They’ll use this to break people and people will break and take the hit. Thats one of the main worrys. Something like this invites that behaviour. We’ve seen it here so often. Unfortunately we can’t actually trust a lot of what happens behind the scenes yet. It is getting better but it’s still there. This will end up being another weapon. If you’re a big Val and worried about dropping rewards, it doesn’t take much to send some fud out and mentally break people into taking this option. We already have rumours of projects/Vals paying people to fud *coughs* things *coughs again* moon rabbit. So they know the game and they already play it. The same will happen again but with higher consequences. When we had the wallet debacle people were unstaking and paying the higher tax because they were told TFL are gonna shut station wallet down for terra classic and stop supporting it, quickly go to HEX or galaxy or whatever it is. It was all untrue. So our investors lost 21days minimum of staking which was around 1% rewards at the time. Paid 1.2% 2x before they could stake again. 3.4% gone for nothing but fud. From our own investors who panicked. Again we can say that’s their fault but not everyone is experienced and deserve to be protected imo. It was only after a few of us were getting loud saying you don’t need to unstake to do that and @luncdevfund stepped up and made a video to show people how to do it without unstaking and taking a loss because of fud, when they absolutely didn’t need to. It was something like 12k wallets that transferred &/or unstaked over that. That’s a lot. Some were jumping up and down, the pools were being filled, volume transfer and transactions were, some were buzzing they got new clients. But people were being scared into it and losing money. I’m sure that’s part of what the big boys see and don’t like. Not us squabbling on X. Stuff like that. This would just be way worse, because there’s so much more to gain by doing such things. Hope some of this makes sense mate 🫶
