@NYCTSubway We need this info on Bluesky. Some of us are trying to leave this horrible X platform. Please build a Bluesky account so we have options. Thank you.

@NYCTSubway For much of your audience, twitter/x in no longer a helpful platform. Please open a Bluesky account so we can follow this important info elsewhere.

@Maggie_McNeill Yeah, Threads was designed to distance itself from “politics” & “hard news,” which says to me: “we want milquetoast conversations bc we’re afraid to support discussion of anything controversial.” A feckless waste of a potential communication tool, IMHO.

@Rmcortes I was mocking Facebook's Twitter clone "Threads", which from what I've heard is basically like if Facebook and Twitter had a child which favored Facebook, and you don't get to pick who you follow.

@NYCTSubway I love, monitor, and use your account daily. Please open a Bluesky account so we can get this info elsewhere. Bc this twitter place often is terrible and getting worse.

“People in publishing often talk about ‘child-friendly’ books, which suggests something consoling, sweet and kind of nostalgic. But that’s a smokescreen, because those qualities attract parents and teachers more than children,”

This is a great video. Also, I met BC once promoting @justaplant (my children’s book @ marijuana) & she was very supportive/encouraging. I offered her a copy but she insisted on buying it, and FOLLOWED UP days later by email to make sure she could purchase a copy of my book. 🙏
