Texas is experiencing its largest measles outbreak in 30 years. A case just arrived in LA yesterday. And the Secretary of Health’s response is to let everyone know the adverse effects of the measles vaccine and how receiving immunity through breast milk is more effective.

Senate Dems need to hold the line against the Republican funding bill that is really just a Trump/Musk power grab. If Republicans want Dem votes, they need to work with Dems to improve the bill. Otherwise, Trump/Musk can cut the VA, fire veterans and other federal workers, destroy Congressionally mandated agencies, and continue their corruption and unconstitutional actions with complete impunity. Democrats should not enable that. Our greatest strength is our unity. Only unity will give Democrats leverage to hold Musk/Trump accountable, reassert Congressional power and uphold the Constitution. Dems aren't going to get many shots at doing all of that -- this is one of them. You don't want to look back after a full slide into authoritarian control by Trump and Musk and wish you'd done something while you still could have. Right now, we still can. House Dems have shown that they can stick together. Can we push Senate Dems to do the same? All we're asking is to fight back, fight for your constituents, fight for your country. It should be very clear to every Senate Democrat that any vote for Cloture will also be considered a vote for the bill. People aren’t going to be tricked with procedural games. They know exactly what is going on. Defend Medicaid. Vote NO on Cloture. NO on bill.
