Everything has been breaking my way of late. Four blockbuster hit movies in theatres the past several weeks. Finally studios are giving us a 45 day exclusive theatrical window. Netflix taking Narnia to theatres too. And “my” 76ers, down 3-1, came back to win Game 7 in Boston. Before tonight, Boston won their playoff series 32-0 when up 3-1. Philly 0-18 when down 3-1. Born and raised in Philadelphia, I was CEO of the Sixers 15 years ago and a co-owner of the team for over a decade. The Celtics were a ferocious opponent. It won’t be any easier against the Knicks.

People keep comparing today’s $AMC to the old AMC without realizing this is NOT the same company anymore. AMC already closed over 200 underperforming theaters over the last few years and focused on upgrading stronger locations with IMAX, Dolby, laser projection, recliners, and premium experiences.🎬 🍿 They trimmed the fat.✅️ Cut weak locations. ✅️ Reduced debt.✅️ Built new revenue streams.✅️ That’s not a dying company. That’s a company restructuring for long-term survival and growth. 🍿

Man, just got home from watching Animal Farm and now I feel like I need to read the book again. 1. Freedom isn’t the act of helping others. “You know what's always right? Helping each other. Not because we have to, but because we choose to. That's what freedom is.” Yes, I agree about that being a good moral code, but it is far from what freedom is. 2. Technology is not the root of all evil. Evil will always exist in all progress just as there will be good as well. Because this nation took on the narrative that “nuclear energy was bad”, has set us back decades towards moving to cleaner types of energy. This nation will struggle with progress until we stay ahead of the curve on energy consumption. 3. Roosters have 2 legs. Are we counting wings as legs? I think the original message of the book was lost on this movie. It was however funny. 5/10
