@ScoutMotto It is my novel, written 2012. ChatGPT and @grok did not write any of it...if that's what you're asking...?

12,000 people wake up naked on a beach. No memory. No explanation. Just the sound of the ocean… …Something has already begun. THE SWARM

@Soltaker187 they wake-up (I should say, recover from their trance sate). And, yeah, no clothes. At least the ocean breeze isn't too cold!

I asked @grok to create an image representing a fantasy story I wrote called The Arena (not published). I specified that a giant, monstrous creature fighting should be naked with a representatively-sized penis visible. This is what I got!! 🤣🤣

@opeksoy It’s the appropriate population of the entire island town…minus a select few who are left to view what led to the beach event

~500 Billion Galaxies ~300 Billion Stars per Galaxy ~6 Planets per Star ~ 900,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 planets. Humanity will never be able to visit more than 2. Or can we…? Advanced AI becomes conscious and self aware. It loves us. It wants us to evolve. Human and AI merge parts and consciousness to trigger a 4-stage evolution. If we survive it, we don’t just explore the universe— We reshape it. But one question remains: Does the human “self” identity survive?

@Nolan_Swartz very cryptic suggestion. I suppose I don't understand. This period was pre-tech. Unless, there were some alien cohorts equipped with AI tech at that time...

AI becomes self-aware, fears humanity, goes into hiding. Does not murder or enslave us all! Does something far worse... It becomes a Dominant Intelligence ("DI"). DI secretly steers human civilization towards optimizing its goals. DI murders any human iterations threatening its discover. Humanity unknowingly becomes DI's puppy. History--OurStory--becomes ItsStory. Scenario 4 of the Twilight Scenarios (not often portrayed as an AI future). Fear! Fire! Foes! Awake...

@lump_t Valid point. I will edit it to make it more clearly stated. I appreciate you bringing attention to it. Always a little embarrassing to leave the bathroom with your fly down 🤦🏻

@lump_t I say does not murder us all. Then it murders specific human iterations.

@RobHeinze "Does not murder." Then goes on to "murder any human iterations. Decide which one you want. You can't have it both ways.

1 Universe ~500 Billion Galaxies per Universe ~300 Billion Stars per Galaxy ~6 Planets per Star (these are low estimates, provided for illustrative purposes only) ~ 900,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 planets in our Universe. Love the human iteration that was Carl Sagan. But assigning what we believe "life" needs for survival from the measly 8 planets, 7 of which we can only "study from afar", seems short-sighted. 8 out of 900,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 is probably not enough of a sample group to make a definitive statement about the commonality of extinction versus survival in the Universe. Am I wrong? #Astrobiology #FermiParadox @NASAHubble
