Well, if yesterday's map was ridiculous, I'm running out of superlatives to characterize today's. Countless locations from Pacific Coast to Great Plains are currently experiencing all-time record March warmth, w/ some locations approaching/exceeding April (or even May) records.

Yesterday was historic! 📈 New all-time March records were set in Redwood City (93°F!) and Oakland Museum (89°F), while SFO and Salinas tied their monthly highs. The heat continues today, March 18. We're watching records in Kentfield (89°F) and SF (86°F). Stay cool! ☀️ #CAwx

@ggweather @RobMayeda I just had my hottest day here in Morgan Hill. Records since April 1983. Same location.

Updated March Top 10 hottest days. Half Moon Bay and Livermore fell just short, with readings of 75° and 85° respectively.
