Life Update! I'm excited to share that I've joined @silicondotnet to lead growth. We're bringing GPUs and their cashflows onchain to @arbitrum. Tokenized NVIDIA H100s and H200s can earn 20%+ APRs when plugged into @runpod secure cloud demand. Excited to work with @peterhaymond @0xtyler and @jrdnwaldenville again at Offchain Labs! My first order of business when I joined was to figure out our EVM deployment. Arbitrum had the right blend of team who gives a f**k and liquidity / defi primitives for an RWA project like ours.
Silicon.net@silicondotnet

The RWA you've been waiting for. Tokenized GPUs and their cashflows are coming to @arbitrum. Pre-deposit for Cluster 01 is live.

@JakeCan72 They thought they’d win a jury trial with those facts? Now they lost the legal battle AND their dumb ass BS went viral and they’ve lost the court of public opinion.

Seven cops raided a rapper’s house looking for drugs and a kidnapping victim. Found neither. Filed no charges. Left behind a broken gate, busted doors, and one deputy eyeing a lemon pound cake in the fridge. Afroman had security cameras rolling the whole time. He turned the footage into diss tracks, music videos, and merch. Mocked the raid. Made money off it. The deputies sued him for $3.9 million. Defamation. Invasion of privacy. Emotional distress. Yesterday a jury of his peers ruled in his favor on all 13 counts. Zero damages. Case closed. He walked out of the courthouse in an American flag suit: “I didn’t win. America won.” They came for the lemon pound cake. They left with nothing. 🇺🇸

Psa: usdxl has a redemption floor of .98 usdt0 presently so anything under is a free arb right now. Gluex aggregator is no longer operating on hyperevm and was the primary route for usdxl gsm traffic. We’ve submitted the gsm for routing to other aggregators as well as are working on our own aggregator that’s in prod testing now.

PROFESSIONAL NEWS ALERT: As we have said a couple months ago, NVIDIA GPU rental prices are rising rapidly again and capacity is being sold out. Between mid 2024 to Q3 2025, it was an customers market for compute where customers were able to neogigate low prices & favourable terms with Neoclouds. But due the surge of demand of agentic coding & increase in DRAM pricing, Customers no longer have as much negotiating power.

agents are just llm humans on computers. they curl apis, puppeteer browsers, ssh around. when they need to pay for something they use stripe or build their own fix in minutes. they don't need x402 or any bespoke agent payment rail. x402 and every agent payment protocol is rent seeking middleware. and rent seeking doesn't survive Moloch. google, aws, stripe are burning billions subsidizing the exact same pipes as loss leaders to win adjacent wars. you cannot toll a road when trillion dollar companies are paving free highways right next to it. this chart is just the timeline of people figuring that out. volumes crashed because the only real volume was people farming the narrative itself.
Uttam@uttam_singhk

x402 transactions volume btw 🫠🫠

can someone give me their "agentic payments" thesis? it seems highly overrated to me. even if you capture 90% of that market, you make basically no real money on it open to changing my mind though

@_ConorMoore @USDai_Official Don’t the private credit behemoths (Apollo etc) want you to deploy every single dollar into servers? Otherwise you’re paying 11% - bill rate in interest on cash that’s doing nothing productive

As we continue to iterate on USDAI underwriting requirements, something we’ve implemented recently is the requirement for a “debt service reserve account” which is basically some cash held on hand by the borrowers reserved to make cover debt payments if needed. Obviously, this adds more protection to staker capital and is marginal credit enhancement, though not particularly new or novel. What is novel, however, is that the borrowers can hold this reserve account in an onchain smart contract, in our native stablecoin USDai and earn an interest rate reduction on their loan for doing so. This simultaneously lowers the interest rate for borrowers AND increases it for stakers. Because every dollar of USDai that’s minted earns 4.5% to stakers. So while the face rate paid by borrower drops by 50bps, the face rate earned by stakers actually INCREASES by 25bps. You earn more yield and take less risk at the same time. The marriage of lending and payments together is a truly unstoppable flywheel and the real innovation of USDAI. The use of USDai in a reserve account is a very small first step towards this unified vision, but a step forward nonetheless.
USD.AI | Public Launch is Live@USDai_Official

A new $9.8M loan was originated through USDAI. - Collateral: 10 H200s, 38 B200s - Term: 36 Months - Rate: 11.5% APR Today marks the first time a borrower has held their debt service reserve natively in USDai, fully onchain.

@RobMcStodda Sure, but if you're running it regularly the hourly costs blow past $36K quickly. and you lose the always-on, no-dependency advantage of local inference.

4 Mac Studios can run a 1T parameter open-weights model for about $36K. The equivalent on NVIDIA hardware requires a full DGX B200: 8 GPUs, ~$500K because you can't buy fewer than 8 even though the workload only needs 3 GPUs' worth of memory (if you can get the chips at all). Local inference at batch size 1 (one user, one model) is entirely memory-bound. FLOPS barely factor in. NVIDIA optimized everything for compute. The local AI era is actually memory constrained.
Alex Cheema@alexocheema

It feels ironic that stacking mac studios is the cheapest way to run frontier AI today. But it actually makes sense. Nothing else beats the memory unit economics of Apple Silicon. Memory and memory bandwidth (not FLOPS) is what matters for local inference. Everything runs at batch_size=1. @karpathy talked about this at his AI SUS keynote: personal computing v2 is coming. Just look at the numbers: M3 Ultra: $18/GB, $6.70/GB/s DGX Spark: $36/GB, $17/GB/s B200 (DGX): $360/GB, $8/GB/s Memory for B200 is 20x more expensive. Memory bandwidth for DGX Spark is 2.5x more expensive. If DeepSeek V4 is >1T parameters (as it’s rumoured to be), by far the cheapest way to run it will be Apple Silicon. M5 Ultra will likely push this further. NVIDIA has completely missed this segment of the market.
