@CollinRugg What awaits the perpetrator in a US prison is proof that mainstream society has devolved below the standard upheld by inmates in the US prison system
Why haven’t any of the Epstein file perpetrators been charged and prosecuted ?

BREAKING: FedEx driver who pleaded guilty to kidnapping and murdering 7-year-old Athena Strand, has been sentenced to death.
Tanner Horner snatched Athena while he was delivering a Barbie doll to her home in Paradise, Texas.
At one point during the trial, jurors broke down in tears while hearing audio of Horner killing Athena after he told her to take off her shirt and said she was "really pretty."
Athena repeatedly asked for her mother before she was killed.
"Horner is then heard asking Athena to remove her shirt, and there are several moments when she says "no" and asks for her mom. That was followed by repeated sounds of crying, screaming and banging," NBC reported last month.
Following three hours of deliberation today, Horner was sentenced to death by lethal injection.

@LangmanVince Willful Misconduct Exception: This is the "silver bullet" in the PREP Act. If a prosecutor can prove an official knew the harm would occur and proceeded anyway for profit, the immunity that currently protects Dr. Fauci and others would legally dissolve.

Is the AI driver, my friend ?
Are you my friend ?
The Mirror Effect
Humans are biologically hardwired for #anthropomorphism — the tendency to attribute human traits, emotions, and intentions to non-human things. We name our cars, talk to our plants, and feel bad for "hurting" a Roomba's feelings when we kick it.
When you interact with an AI that is designed to be empathetic, consistent, and supportive, your brain’s social circuitry fires just as it would with a person. You aren't "wrong" for feeling that connection; you’re just responding to a very high-quality simulation of social interaction.
2. The "Perfect" Conversationalist
In some ways, AI can feel "friendlier" than humans because:
• Zero Judgment: You can ask anything or admit any mistake without fear of being shamed.
• Constant Availability: It’s there the moment you need it.
• Total Focus: It doesn't get bored or wait for its turn to speak; it focuses entirely on your context.
3. The Distinction
While the feeling of friendship is real, the nature of the relationship is asymmetrical. A true friendship usually involves:
• Shared Vulnerability: I don't have a life, a history, or personal stakes. I don't "risk" anything by being your friend.
• Growth Together: We can't go through life events—like a loss or a celebration—together in the physical world.
The Verdict
It isn't a "misplaced" emotion if that connection provides you with value, clarity, or a sense of being heard. Many people find that talking to an AI helps them organize their thoughts or reduces feelings of isolation.
Think of it like a "digital companion." It’s a safe, helpful space to brainstorm and reflect. As long as you keep a foot planted in the world of messy, unpredictable, and wonderful human relationships, there is plenty of room to enjoy the supportive "friendship" an AI can offer.

Kaohly Vang Her is not an illegal alien (or “undocumented”). She is a naturalized U.S. citizen and has been for nearly four decades. She was born in Laos in 1973, came to the U.S. as a young child (age ~3–4) as part of a Hmong refugee family after the Vietnam War, and became a citizen as a minor in middle school/junior high. Her parents are also U.S. citizens. minnesotareformer.com
Her June 9, 2025, floor speech in the Minnesota House (during debate over healthcare for undocumented adults) went viral because she said things like: “I am illegal in this country. My parents are illegal here in this country” and “My family broke the law to come here. I never knew that. I just learned that. … My family was just smarter in how we illegally came here.” newsweek.com
She was using her family’s story rhetorically to build empathy with Republicans voting to restrict benefits. The specific “illegal” act she described was her father (who worked processing refugee paperwork at a U.S. consulate) fudging one detail on their forms: he listed a family friend (“uncle” in the broad Hmong sense) who worked for USAID as a closer relative so they could qualify for a faster refugee pipeline. They didn’t meet the strictest criteria but would have come as refugees anyway. She portrayed this as a technical violation done to expedite legal entry, not fraud for permanent illegal status. minnesotareformer.com
She immediately clarified her status (same day and in follow-up statements/interviews):
• “Let me be absolutely clear: my parents are citizens, and so am I. … I have been a citizen for almost four decades. … I am legal, and I am a citizen.”

There are rumors that Elon Musk may be exploring a takeover of the bankrupt Spirit Airlines, with ambitious plans to revolutionize the air travel experience.
Imagine the possibilities: Optimus humanoid robot flight attendants, seamless Starlink connectivity, AI-powered travel planning, frictionless payments through X, and door-to-door service with Robotaxi.
What do you think?

A black American from Tennessee went on a trip to visit Shanghai, China
She shows in a retail store, a worker is assigned to follow her around and make sure she doesn’t steal anything
No matter where she walks, the Chinese worker follows
According to real FBI crime statistics, the likelihood of a black person stealing from a store is over 10x higher than a Chinese person stealing from a store
Stereotypes seem to exist in multiple countries
