Much of my talk yesterday was on the importance of confession and bringing men back to the Eucharist and staying in a state of grace. The confessional line afterward was packed. Some of the men mentioned that it had been multiple decades since their last confession. Glory to Jesus Christ in the highest.

He speaks of the flesh of man in that verse. Men leaning on their own understanding. Exactly what George is actually doing in this clip. “I can’t wrap my head around it”. And it’s clear because of one simple word. He uses the word MY when speaking of the Eucharist. “My flesh is meat indeed and MY blood is drink indeed.” Here he uses the word THE. Referring to man’s flesh and understanding. Essentially what he’s saying is; if this bothers you, you are not trusting in His words, but your own.

You skipped a bunch of verses in between. Here, lemme fix that: "61 Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, “Does this offend you? 62 Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! 63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life." Oh! I see why. Verse 63: "The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts as nothing."

“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them… On hearing it, many of his disciples said, ‘This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?’… From this time, many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.” John 6:56-66

@mchooyah Then you’re not a practicing Catholic. If you’re willing to commit mortal sin and not participate in the mass because of a man you don’t like, with all due respect, that’s weak and cowardly…especially coming from a man of your caliber.

I am a practicing Catholic and went to Catholic school my entire life. I will say The Rosary every day but WILL NOT go to mass again or pay the Church a single dime until they get rid of this communist they call “the pope”.

Men are made for hard things—God built us this way. Your fulfillment, your joy, the fullness you seek is found beneath the weight of the cross. Here, we find Christ. Here, we hear His whisper. Men are out here complaining about the uninspiring ugliness of modern churches, meanwhile they walk around 50 lbs overweight and dressed like slobs. Congrats, you can quote the Summa —you’re not inspiring anyone either, pal.
