@ThaEuropeanLad They don't go far enough back. They only look for the foul on Raya and in that clip trossards impact is negligible, but go back 2 seconds and he's rugby tackling pablo

@drowningsafe @Rory_Talks_Ball Arsenal don't allow the opposition to block the keepers space, rice, odegaard and trossard cleared that space for Raya by manhandling everyone out the way.

@Rory_Talks_Ball Fouling the GK is different from Arsenal's genius technique of blocking the space of the GK. But simple minds pattern recognition goes into pareidolua & heuistics. It's smartass vs. dumpass We are just smarter than you all.

@TMarxx @AnthonyB1985 @BBCMOTD Havertz there isn't even looking at the ball, just trying to get soucek... Trossard has also started his foul on Pablo in that still... Before soucek.

Great point by Shay Given on @BBCMOTD . VAR checking for the foul on the keeper, but whilst doing it completely ignoring the fouls of Arsenal players on West Ham attackers. If no goal, why not go back and give a penalty? What is the rationale for what is ignored? #motd

@Molly2323232323 It's demonstrably regulated, you repeatedly lie about this. Here it is from the regulator themselves. You are falsely causing reputational damage to our professions reputation, directly to our professional body. hcpc-uk.org/standards/meet…

@LittlePersonDoc @thecsp I can't talk for the csp, but I can't imagine they would support physiotherapists practicing medicine, I think that's illegal. They would support physios providing healthcare in many clinical environments as long as they were competent to do the relevant role.

@RobSetters @thecsp Thanks for clarifying. So the union for physios is all good with them practising medicine?

‘Advanced practice physiotherapists are highly trained, regulated practitioners who provide expert care to patients in a range of settings across the NHS. ‘Their skills, knowledge and expertise complement what other professions bring to teams treating patients and have an exceptionally strong record on safety.' The CSP has responded strongly to media claims over the weekend around the safety of advanced practice roles in the NHS. Read more: csp.org.uk/news/2026-05-0…

@thecsp To be clear, does your institute believe it acceptable for an ACP physiotherapist to be working on a Drs rota? Do you regulate this?

This is so sad. Medicine is hard. Thats why the training is long and rigorous. You cant just pick this stuff up or by taking a part time course. More bodies, practitioners etc dosent replace the expertise of a doctor. The Dr replacement experiment needs to end #AskForADoctor

@DrNickDalmon @ClearThinker66 Twisting words from you 🤣 Yes it's part time I acknowledge that. It's also not important, but you like to repeat it. If you could just acknowledge the way you describe ACPs qualifications is intended to make it sound less than a full MSc, I might cheer up. ✌️

@DrNickDalmon @ClearThinker66 With respect it is clear that you are trying to say the fact it's part time means it's lesser in some way. You make a comparison to pilots here implying people should avoid pilots that trained part time. Pilots can and do train part time and full time.

@RobSetters @ClearThinker66 I never said is lesser than a full time MSc I said its part time. Which it is. I have always said part time masters, its still masters, just part time. How is it not part time Rob?

@dieracg @DrNickDalmon Well that's the point he keeps labelling the part time element as it being less than a full qualification. I think it's to deliberately mislead people who don't know any better. Whether the content is enough for the roles advanced practitioners do is another debate entirely.

@RobSetters @DrNickDalmon Why would Nick do that? I'm not sure he's got any expertise in law, teaching, finance etc. Full or part time is irrelevant. It doesn't matter whether an ACP "masters" is done in 2 week or 2 years. They're still poor quality courses that don't equip the holder to be a doctor.

The hubris here Replying to a post saying medicine is long and rigorous to defend a part time masters degree (because its not full time is it) for a course that stops people having immediately access to doctors and seeing the alphabet soup instead. Dr substitution needs to end
Rob Setters@RobSetters

@DrNickDalmon We've been over this. It's a full MSc. You just do it over a longer period as there's an expectation to use learning in practice. Whether or not you think it's suitable is a different question. But to call it a "part time course" when it's a full MSc is deliberately misleading.

@Anisocyte @DrNickDalmon Assuming your 25% is from it needing to cover the "4 pillars". My course had one leadership module, one education module and two research modules. 5 were clinical. I was never told I would work like a doctor. I work in MSK.

@RobSetters @DrNickDalmon You’re right, Rob. Let’s not mislead: the MSc ACP is a non-medical course with <25% clinical content that non-medically qualified people use to work as doctor substitutes. That too by telling patients they can work like doctors. Is that preferable?

@Xeon4f145d96s1 @DrNickDalmon Yes it's part time, alongside work which is actually important for the MSc. But it's the framing of it as lesser for being part time that's the problem. And yes pilots can and do train part time as well

@ClearThinker66 @DrNickDalmon Being critical of the content is different & fair debate, I disagree, I think in most cases the content is suitable for the roles advanced practice is doing But repeatedly mislabeling it as somehow lesser than a full MSc is wrong He would save characters by just saying ACP MSc

@RobSetters @DrNickDalmon It’s a poor quality MSc. It’s a level seven qualification but so is MRCP or med sch training and the ACP course is not remotely similar to the others. It’s a poor qualification with no standardisation and only a quarter of it is clinical.
