@NorthstarBrain Strong points! Every single update in the AI, lately is the 'best', but it's just clickbait. I do believe it will be somehow similar to NFTs, meaning 90% will fail and only the top AI will survive and everyone will use them. Until then, people should do what you did, dive deeper

STOP the Gemini Bulls*it Hype! After working with Google, I was waiting for this since a LONG time. And it's NOT the ChatGPT Killer. Enough clickbait. I deep dived for 13 hours straight into this and here's my NO BS review, based on ALL we know: ---- 1. The Powerhouse of Gemini is Gemini Ultra. It is supposed to be better than ChatGPT4. Supposed. Because we don't have access to that. One day next year... You know what's the best on the market until then? With all the capabilities? GPT4. Now let's dive deeper: --- 2. NOW we have Gemini Pro, integrated in Bard. Which should be slightly better than GPT3.5. To be honest, if you do not intend to pay for GPT Plus, and you want AI for free, get GPT4 in Bing/Copilot. And you'll have better performance. --- 3. All the tests and benchmarks that Google showed were for Ultra, NOT Pro. YES, they were better than current GPT4. SLIGHTLY. It still sucks at maths. Fun fact: it will NOT support image generation at launch. But they are trying to avoid talking about that. What really bothers me is that they're hyping and comparing something we DON'T have to something that WORKS. It's like me bragging about my hypothetical parked Ferrari against the running Lamborghini of OpenAI. Empty hype. --- 4. If at this point you think I'm a HATER, allow me to give you more context: I WANTED this to be the ChatGPT killer. Waited for a long time, because I know they have the capabilities. Yet, they did NOT deliver. If you have Gemini Ultra prove me wrong. Yeah, that's what I thought... --- 5. To conclude: Google really THINKS that OpenAI are going to patiently wait? Until they release Gemini Ultra next year, with a GPT4 November version??? It would be such a meme if during launch day of Ultra, OpenAI drops GPT5, demolishing Google, like they did with Claude at Dev Day. --- One question remains: Alex, why are you upset and passionate about this? Because I BELIEVE in Google, it's founding values, the resources to make the world a better place. And this is WEAK. Probably you saw the usual 2000 hype posts today with "How to make 10k per month with Gemini" and other nonsense... Well, I deep-dived and was disappointed. Sorry. Curious to know your thoughts in the comments, friend.

This is the very reason why crypto’s success is inevitable. Contrary to popular myopic belief, ‘mass adoption’ won’t happen because of one killer dApp, but rather because the collective consciousness, the people, will demand a better way. Money is energy. Energy is power. Crypto is the purest form of money. Crypto is the purest form of energy. Crypto is the purest form of power. Crypto is our only way to wrestle with our centralised overlords, to excise power from them. The overlords that play games with our livelihoods and chain us to the endless hamster wheel. We are all slaves to the system, and the only way to unshackle ourselves is to opt-out of the obsolete fractional reserve banking system. It’s the only way to pry open their tight grip on power and reclaim it for ourselves. This is why they use their propaganda machines to slander and misconstrue us, criticise our models and solutions; because they fear us. We are the greatest existential threat to their reign. Our system may not be perfect, or complete, or have the answer to every question yet, but it’s a declaration, a statement, that whatever we build from hereon will be better than what was. Built with a set of values that align with the many and not the few. Every bank run, every abuse of power, every act of war, every divide, will radicalise the many further and accelerate crypto’s inevitability. The people will demand a new way. A better way.
