Well, I feel like I’ve been super patient with the @USPS and all the STOLEN mail happening but this process is not easy at all to simply get the $100 insurance for ground advantage. Not only do they require you submit everything including pictures of the damage/stolen package (very fair) to online claims BUT they require my buyer (who’s already been refunded in full) to keep said empty packaging and materials, ship them back to me and then I have to take those into a physical location to be logged. The kicker is I have 20 days from the letter dated March 2 to comply or else they will deny. This letter landed in my hands this Saturday the 14th so I have about 7 days to ship empty damaged packing back to me in order to process this crazy claim. My buyer didn’t keep the packaging once we had detailed pics (which makes total sense) as pictures should be enough in this case. Take a gander at the theft and the goose chase I have to go thru to get just the $100 back. This is ridiculous. The least they could do is be flexible when a theft happens on their watch @USPSHelp. I’m pretty patient with this stuff and understand it’s part of it but come on USPS do better.
