@BenColeyGolf Not at all. I'll say it for the third time, for someone who misses so many easy pots, he is someone I simply can't have any faith in.

With no disrespect intended, whenever I see tweets like this I can’t help but wonder how many people read and understood what Xintong was found guilty of. Specifically, he didn’t fix or throw matches, or bet for himself, or bet on his matches. That’s not to say he was innocent.
SnookerLover@Snooker147Lover

Xintong’s obviously a very good player... probably too good – but I just can’t forget his match-fixing offence and how lightly he got off. That’ll hang over him for the rest of his career, no matter what he does. Sorry.

Israel's new death penalty law adds to a long list of policies that dehumanise Palestinians, including children who also face military detention. "There must be a stop to Israeli military authorities arresting, detaining and prosecuting children" Ahmad Alhendawi @savethechildren

I haven’t been this excited since God knows when. I can not state how outstanding this run is .. and it’s just shy of her outdoor UK record. The outdoor World Record is on borrowed time. 1m53.28s from 1983. I can’t wait for it to be smashed to bits. Rock on @keelyhodgkinson .

@Iromg @thetimes Mike, you know perfectly well I am not a leftist. The piece I’m linking to specifically attacks leftists. I am as right wing as you are, God help me. America is fucked and you know it. You cannot tell me you think the ICE killings are okay because I know you don’t.

@IntangibleThang @TaintlessRed At the time Barnes wouldn't have been living up north for much more than a year. He lived down south from when his family moved to England when he was 12 until he transferred from Watford to Liverpool in 1987.

Enjoyed John Barnes on the Overlap until right at the very end when Neville wanted him to Rap. I turned it off. This is one of the greatest players, fascinating story and person yet all he's becoming known for is doing the same rap like a party piece every time he's on camera.

@TurkTalksFC If he can stay consistently fit and get back to the productivity levels which saw him get 16 goals and 9 assists in the 23/24 prem season, it will justify the esteem in which he is held.

Potentially unpopular opinion: Bukayo Saka is a very good winger but he’s also probably the most overrated player in this league. Gets spoken about like a world-class superstar but rarely scores, especially from open play, and goes missing in big matches far too often.

@nonregemesse Having heard his attempt at sounding like a Londoner early in his career, I fully endorse that decision. He has more than enough gravitas to compensate for the lack of accents.

@Martynw34 Oh, I think Robertson is definitely better. He has two more Triple Crown wins and double the ranking titles. Just been very odd that someone so good hasn't made a final at the worlds since he won it.

@RobbieMcIntyre1 Ironically Robertson is a better player than Murphy imo, i think though Robertson is a bit like Mark Allen now he is too obsessed with this safety first approach instead of imposing his attacking game on the opponent

As for Arsenal you wonder whether they have a winning mentality ,mentality is almost everything in all Sports, Jimmy White being as good as anyone for a period of time at Snooker but he couldn't handle the pressure & Stephen Hendry could, being one example of what i mean #ARSMUN

@Martynw34 Agreed on Murphy, harsh though that is for a 4 time triple crown winner. Neil Robertson I am more tempted to say is, but would love to see him win another world title. He has a better chance of doing so I think, despite Crucible struggles.

@RobbieMcIntyre1 No not unless he somehow wins more world title's, agree totally it is some achievement to make 6 world finals , 5 in a row

@Martynw34 But given how long before Hendry Jimmy was around, it is certainly fair to question why he hasn't got it done.

@Martynw34 Agreed, but I think his biggest chances coming when he was well into his career against someone with such an aura of invincibility did make it tough. Higgins and Williams both got the monkey off their back quite young. I do also think they are both also better all round players.

@Martynw34 It's tough, but there is certainly a decent argument for that. He is definitely a legend one way or another, and six finals is actually really impressive. Would you have Murphy as an all time great, for example?

@RobbieMcIntyre1 Exactly mate that last one Jimmy should have won but mentally the expectations got so big he couldn't handle it, that is why i stop short of making Jimmy an all time great, although he was a terrific player

@Martynw34 Losing relatively comfortable v Parrott was poor though, as he was arguably a better player across their careers.

@Martynw34 The 18-14 loss from 14-8 up was definitely a bit choke, but I think that is partly down to Jimmy knowing Hendry was better, making him a bit too desperate to take the chance when he had it.
