“People have asked me why I don’t just drop the price again, but I refuse to give my home away cheaply just because of the ridiculous economic climate we’re in.” Remember that struggling young people should just pick up more work, and lose the avocado toast, but older people shouldn’t be forced to lose a lick of profit in a housing market that has been horrendously inflated to the detriment of everyone who actually makes this country work.

Just a boy on annual leave asking for some sort of strategy game set in 20th century Scotland. Is it too much to ask?

Since 2006, the performance of Scottish teenagers in maths and science has declined by the equivalent of 18 months of schooling. The SNP’s response to this? Free pencil cases and water bottles for primary school kids. thetimes.com/article/11ff70…

@LesleyRiddoch @believeinscot @ScotNational Something called 'Kreator - Krushers Of The World Tour' is on at the 02 Academy in Glasgow tonight. I've never heard of them, but more people will be attending that 2,500 capacity gig than wasted their Saturday waving oversized flags in Edinburgh. Should that be on the news too?

Believe in Scotland reads the slogan of today’s march for independence in Edinburgh. For many of us though, Scotland isn’t a luxury to believe in or otherwise. Instead it takes the form of a crushing reality which we are forced to live out each day.

Worth remembering this is a party who were elected in 2021 promising a comprehensive National Care Service, free dental care and a public energy company.

Parents across Scotland have told us they need more support. The working day does not stop at 3pm. A re-elected SNP Government will extend childcare from 9 months old to the end of primary school, 52 weeks a year. Make it #BothVotesSNP on May 7 for a Scottish Government on your side. #SNP26

Robert Duvall had under 20 minutes of screen time in Apocalypse Now (1979) and still earned a Golden Globe win and an Oscar nomination, delivered one of cinema’s most iconic lines, and completely owned the “Ride of the Valkyries” sequence. What a legend.
